Im having this same problem. Lift doesn't seem to work, nothing to repair...
The game also started crashing if I clicked on the Lift door after I had saved there.

i discovered that problem is in the 7z full pack on my site,somhow i missed files,i have corrected it and uploaded the full repack to my site,re-download if you downloaded the full version from my site,it is uploading now and should be ready in about 5 min

Here is the list of the bugs that I met so far (megamod 2.42). Most are known (I saw some of them on the wiki, and the others on this forum), but I wanted to insist above, as I met them. For others, I don't know it if they are really bugs with regard to your work on the mod, or if these points are voluntarily ignored.

- The vertibird plans : once I get them, I bring them to the Abbey. But after that, there is no way (no dialog option) to give plans to BOS just before giving them to Shis (as it was planned in the vanilla version). I tried to give plans first to the BOS, which give them back to me, then I gave it to the Abbey. But the monks, dissatisfied, attacked me (Sure, they had warned me. Damn monks). I come to the conclusion that this is impossible to give successively plans to three parties: Abbey / BOS, and Shis.

- Once I finished the game, I return to Arroyo, and there I falls not on the recontruit village (it seemed to me that it had to occur, but can be not with the megamod?), but on the map where Hakunin would die, the one who contains the destroyed bridge. Ah, and this map makes vanish my car, which is lost forever.

- Maria, of Navarro, does not give me the quest to find the blackbox. Here are the stages that I followed:
- recovery of the black box in Klamath, and use of the supplied map.
- visit of Toxic Cave (without using nor touching the elevator).
- entered Navarro (with the blackbox on me).
- complete achievement of the peaceful version quests to obtain the vertibird.
- speak to the sergeant who forces me to stand guard (moreover he suggests me nothing else that to stand guard and send me back to guard if I leave my post).

- BOS bunker. As expected, a buggy map. Most of the time the game crashed when i reported to Burke that i brought the holodisk to professor Steel (maybe because of the numerous critters spawning on this event). During this fight with animals, that I have repeated between five and ten times without finishing it: when one of my allies was accidentally touched by BOS fire, it was sure afterward to see the soldiers attacking him until death. Twice where I reached the end of the fight, by killing the last monster, the group of mutant monsters respawned, two times successively!
Given that I had it have a good laugh of these monsters, I tried to load(charge) my part(party) having fallen on the ground, fainted. There, surprised, by loading on the same map: I found a clone of my PC, which followed me to the desert!
Last but not least, while fighting against mutant critters, i tried to used the elevator (as Burke gave me the password), for finally seeing me teleported on the mapworld, several squares to the northwest.

- The game crashed sometimes when I reached Glow from the world map.

- Another problem, with the metal armor for Marcus. I saw him wearing it for a few seconds, then hop, nothing more! Marcus had returned to the leather version, and had absolutely no armor on him or in his inventory.

-Lenny, when I try to switch him back into human form: when I start the experiment, Lenny suddenly vanish from the screen, for good. No way to know what happened to him, and the scientist remains absorbed by the expected result.

- as I read it on the forum it seems to be normal that I have no access to the car paint. On the other hand I wondered, given that I believed to see that something was written for books: what does it change? It seems to me to have crossed fewer books in the game, but that's all for me (at the condition that anything was modded concerning books?).

- Is Necropolis the third Kruger's location (quest given at Ruined Reactor 7) ?

The way that Abbey was created for Alternative Life, you cannot give the plans to all three groups.

There was a mod once in the works to return to a reconstructed Arroyo. This has never been finished/incorporated. Your car, however, should not disappear, though, and is a bug.

I think I set it so that, if you already have the black box, you can't get the quest to do it. However, she should still send you to the Toxic Caves.

Ugh, yeah, this has always been buggy. Obviously it needs more work.

I don't understand what could be wrong here. I'll look into this one.

Will have to look into this. Maybe a problem with a proto file.

The MM has no change to the books. Nirran wrote some mods involving books, though, where there are books for every skill. None of the changes to books should have anything to do with his paint job mod.

None of the possible locations for Krueger are new locations. He should be at one of three original locations: Vault 15, Broken Hills, or Gecko.

i will take a good look at these files within the next few days,definetly be able to get rid of the crash bug,i think i know why the pc was cloned,problematic map,when the player returns after giving the holo to the researchers,a global is set that makes lots of critters to fight(i will set it to trigger when the report is given,pretty sure that will get rid of the crash),they are supposed to fight the bos personel,and,when each critter dies,the ondeath spawns another critter,same type as the one that died,looking at the scripts,this happens untill 60ish(?) dont remember,critters have been spawned,maybe have to remove that completely,the worldmap view may be code i added to get rid of it,thinking maybe if i delete or comment the code worldmap will be set normaly,anyway,thanks for the reports

edit : worldmap view from bos is fixed,also arroyo destroyed car missing is fixed,they both will be in the next release

Where does it crash: trying to go down the pit, or as soon as you enter from the worldmap?

As soon I enter the Glow. However I was able to enter the Glow entrance map, but didn't enter the underground complex as I had not the possibility to attach a rope (I have to take again the megamod from Nirran website, for the newly corrected files).

In fact I see the armor only during the "little animated sequence". Once I get back to game (my cursor reappears), the armor disappears.

Nirran : good luck for BOS bunker. Was I supposed to be able to escape the battle by taking the elevator (which brought me the worldmap teleportation) ?

I downloaded the full MM 2.42 version from Nirran's site at 8:40am this morning. I went through the temple and can't get Klint to talk to me. Looking through the thread it was said this is due to a corrupt map file. I've tried the .map and .gam file from 3.52, 3.4, 3.42 versions which didn't make a difference at all.

So maybe there's another corrupt file with Klint? Any ideas what files to replace?

I've uninstalled, deleted folders, and reinstalled about 5 times now today without any luck.
 
I installed the whole 122MB package you have on your site. No other addons.

And I've just tried undating sfall to the newest version which is 2.5.7, and it didn't make a difference.
 
email me i will send a map(you will have to load a save from before you entered arroyo village,or start a new game),see if it is the map,i had alot of problems with klint that i thought were corrupt maps,turned out to be an sfall mod of mine,it is fixed,possible somthing else is going on with your save(just checked that the map i will send has klint behaving as intended),also possible that it is klints script,i will send the one i have along with the map

@Nirran Thanks for the files, worked perfectly.

On another note, I made it to Klamath, purchased the Colt pistol from Sajak and I'm unable to do a target shot with it. My small weapons skill is at 101, 7 perception. I aquired another one in the Den and can't perform a target shot with it either. Not sure if you just can't do it with this type of weapon or if its a bug. I'll update when I aquire a different type of pistol.

most of those issues have been resolved,no i dont think you should be able to,tho looking at the files the original mod had no code to stop it,maybe a bug with original mod,the fight sequence has been shortened(new critters after the first wave will not spawn),the view on worldmap has been fixed,coincidentaly some code was discovered, that the vertibird dialog and trunk script had,to be incorrect,fixed them both

edit : after looking at the dialog file,it had dialog for if in_combat,i added the check and messege to the door script,wont be able to use the elevator when in comabt(will be in next release)

Also unable to use a targeted shot with the double-barreled shotgun or the dessert eagle .44. So there must be something else going on than just being the weapon.

Only mods I have is the complete MM 1.42 from Nirran's site, plus I recently just added the mod to make bodys disappear when they're empty. But I added the body mod just recently, wasn't able to target before it.

EDIT: Add the .44 revolver and the hunting rifle to that list.

Can only do a single shot or reload them.

something wrong with your save or install,try backing up your save and music folder then,delete data and do a complete re-install,has to be something,also make sure you have tyhe latest sfall install(make sure to add the settings from megamod ddraw.ini to the new ddraw.ini),most likly cause is bad install,or bad exe

edit : oops,does that charracter have fast shot trait?the engine disables aimed shot for charracters with fast shot

I couldn't use the elevator without the access code given by Burke. As soon I obtain it, the battle begins (in which I can participate). There, I had the possibility to use the elevator (then, to teleport after clicking on the floor button).
