    You shouldn't be excited. So many dang bugs from the addition of Alternative Life. What a headache. But I am still working on it. :wink:

    Yes, im using the fallout2.exe from:
    I download the versions from this site tomorrow, maybe there's a bug in it.

    Edit:
    Did a new fallout2 basic with the Mega Mod full repack v 2.11
    Still the sam error.

    Downloading now.
    BTW: a little confusing...MIB88 Megamod 2 Update 2.1 & MIB88 Megamod 2 Update 2.1, maybe, but one is Update 2.1.1 :D
    Maybe some one of the team can make a little adjustment?

    *EDIT:
    Strange...i downloaded the version from this site...but still that ERROR, any suggestions, couldn't go to bed before i even tried it :D

    Then maybe you need to try the other things I said in the readme, such as restarting your computer after uninstalling the game, or running a registry cleaner. The *only* time I have ever seen that error is when the wrong .exe is being used.

    No fun at all.

    What i did.
    1)Uninstall all Fallout utilities ( including Fallout2 game)
    2)restart PC
    3)Clear the register from all fallout files (regedit)
    4)restart
    5)install fresh fallout2
    6)restart
    7)extract MIB zip files, copy them in the correct place
    8)restart
    9)install the mapper
    10)restart
    11)use 1-Click Maintenance Tune-Up Utilities 2007
    12)restart
    13)run mapper

    Still that error:
    wmAreaInit::Error Loading Cities!

    Any ideas?

    *EDIT:
    Hmmm, seems something wrong. Not try the game.
    I start a new game with chitza and klint.
    Enter the caves and it crashed.

    Well...do it all over again :)

    I dont get it.
    Game works fine now, not have that city bug beneath NR, but the mapper still giving me that error.

    There were a couple of other things in the readme you should have tried, those two were just examples, like installing the game to a different location. And you need to check the configuration file of your mapper (the file paths). Maybe your mapper is looking in the wrong location, or at least a location where you don't have the right game installed. Like I said, the only time I have known that error to come up is when you have the wrong .exe.

    Just play the game for a while.
    Sorry about the mapper.
    It's 23:30 in Klamath and i have to wait for the farmer, so i go to the sewer. I see you not solved the lockpick check on the door near Slim. I still manage to use the lockpick skill (39) not need rescue the trapper first. Will that be fixed in next updates?

    It has been fixed. However, you don't need to rexcue the trapper...but it is a lot harder to pick the lock.

    Wait a sec...I forgot something. When you use the mapper, you need to run the patcher on it to that allows you to have more than 49 cities. Get the patcher from this site.

    You can get the key from the dog in the main Klamath area near Torr by giving him some meat jerky... ;)

    Klint bug and others

    *Figured out where the unable to move Klint and unable to interact with Klint (use healing or Doctor skills on him) error is. If you tell him to stay close the problem goes away. If you tell him to stand further away you get the errors.

    *Found a spelling error in the Den gamblers. 'Diamod' instead of 'diamond'.

    *Found a map error in the square SE of Primitive Village. Got random encounter of War Party then exited and was in map 3 squares east of Den.

    *Crash to desktop when holding cursor over minor scorpion in random encounters happens as the % to hit calculation is occurring. If you click fast before the % shows you can complete an attack without crash.

    *Number of encounters around Primitive Village that have regular knives as loot is very low. Wish the quest would accept combat or envenomed knives.


    Wish I could correct the minor errors and just resubmit back to you MIB88

    Question about the FH Armor.

    Does everybody play as MALE?
    Just checked the armor, cant recall i edited it.

    Just check the MAPPER and it seems there are differences between MALE and FEMALE.

    MALE FID: maboss,85
    FEMALE FID: hanpwr,21,1

    Why is that, girls can run.

    Girls wearing a Adv Pwr Arm. instead FH Arm.

    3. I heard something about this encounter crashing before. I had maps with scorpions and ants causing crashes until I removed and re-added their scripts (this occurred in the Arroyo Temple and the EPA). Problem is, I have no idea how to fix this in a random encounter.

    4. Good point. I will change it so the warrior accepts envenomed and combat knives.


    I don't think I changed any images. Maybe the original creator thought it made sense this way. But you are right: Frank's armor should look the same on males and females. I'll change this.

    Hello MIB88, first i want thanks to you for your great work in Megamod, and second i tell you of bugs in Enclave:


    1- The box name are Horrigan's Body.


    2- I can't get the Armor of Horrigan (i click in the corpse, but nothing happens)

    hey, small question, has colly been implemented yet?, i just installed the megamod and it is mentioned as a working mod in the readme of 2.1.1(or 2.1, not sure).

    and if so, could anyone give me instructions on how to find it?

    By the way, thanks and congratulations on the progress, i havent been here for a while, and i was pretty surprised, great job

    1. Already fixed throughout the game.

    2. The armor isn't attached to the body, it should be attached to the legs. Did you try that?


    If you looked among the files, you would see a number of files from that mod. However, it is not complete (I am awaiting some translations) and is not accessible within the game.

    small bug report, klint leveled up(with leather armor, became a big gun weilding monster) and after a save and reload he got back to hes previous level( small guns, lower hp) with the excess hp still there. i did check all proto files are on read only and erased the 2 files u mentioned in the readme
