Although I think I already know what this movie will be about it still might be worthwhile to watch....

Nice, but where are the moonbase babes in purple wigs and slinky catsuits?

I miss Gerry Anderson's UFO...

EDIT: here ya go.

hmz, could this actually be a nice movie with a good script?

in the summer no less?

what has this world come to? ;)

Wow. That does indeed look pretty good. I would have a hard time convincing anyone to come with but hell the movie is all about isolation so maybe I should indeed go alone.

I liked Rockwell a lot in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Nice to see the chicks from UFO again too. I remember that show from when I was a kid. Awesome.

More UFO fun.

And Sam Rockwell is a great actor. He was awesome in "Choke".

Eh. I don't love him, but when cast well he rocks

And this does look interesting. It looks steadily less interesting after he finds himself since they action-montage'd it for some numbnuts reason, and the robot is kind of lame, but otherwise: cool.

Looks very interesting; I bet he's being used for experiments, either by 'teh evil companies' on Earth, or by misterious aliens. We'll see...

Personally I think he is loosing his mind and starts to hallucinate.
The cause is either from the prolonged stay or something he is exposed to.

Replicants that work in harsh extraterrestrial environments and have a 3 year (sorry 4 year) lifespan anyone?

People sure were perky back then.

Should have ended the trailer at 1:15 with a black screen and "what's going on, why does he look like me?". Up until then, I was hooked.

Instead it dragged on way too long and got me completely disinterested.

BTW. David Bowie's son directed this. I'd go see it just to check whether awesomeness is genetic, but sadly they are not playing it around here.

Old thread I know, but I just got back from seeing Moon, and its pretty damn good, Sam Rockwell's performance is solid, the whole movie was very well made, plus Kevin Spacey is the voice of the robot GERTY. I think I'm going to see it again, still so many questions.

With this movie, Avatar and Distict 9 all still coming in 2009 it seems it will be a good year for Sci-Fi movies ...

:)

This makes me smile.
