most newbie-thing done on fallout

The most newbie thing I have ever done in FO is: I were at the military base, 4th level, killed some robots, the alarm went off, went to the wats main computer sat off self destruct sequence in 300 seconds, got up the elevator...force field, wasn't good with my hands(Repair:20)...could not lower the force field, trapped inside....KABOOOM...

I didn't realize you could do targeted attacks until halfway through Fallout and I found that out by accident.

ahhh I didn't know that for a lonnngg time. I always thought fast shot was one of the best perks so i just chose that. Finally after reading about targeted shots here i went and found out for myself :).

I played Fallout 2 many times before I found Fallout 1 in a store. When I went to Necropolis in Fallout 1 looking for some parts I needed to fix something I could not find them! All I found was parts with the same picture as the "Junk" has in Fallout 2.. I never even read the description and looked for many hours. I cant remember wether I had sold the part to someone, threwn in away or if it was in my inventory..

Yeah, I've got a habit of selling important things. OOOOH Leather armour! Do I need the crappy radio from Vic's shack? nahhh! Junk? who needs Junk? Sell sell sell! holodisks aren't needed by anyone!

The list goes on. It also took me 2 days to get past the temple of trials in FO2, mini radscorpions got me everytime, till I figured the 'hit 'em, run away' tactic.

okay i thought i forgot the tape then i got out of the talking with
gizmo then he went angry on me and i couldn't talk to him again.

Hehe... know the story!

i sold the vault 13 water canteens, vics radio....plus other stuff that i needed later :P

Yet another for the "Forget to remove activated dynamite" move.

I think everyone's did that one atleast once.

I got the DualJewl case of FO1/2 a few years back for $10 on the discount rack, figuring I didnt like RPG's much, but it was cool how it said you could pimp out your wife.

Anyway, I went and played FO1 for a bit, got tired of it (the &*$#ing inventory is slow) and popped in FO2 and commensed to pwn it.

I managed to get a raider random encounter that I won, and one of the first guys I killed had a pancor Jackhammer.

Needless to say, I commensed to use burst mode a lot.

About a year later gametime I decided to take a caravan job to find this 'NCR' I kept hearing about, and then I reallized 'wow, this map is bigger than FO1'

Then the midget in the NCR Bazaar had a minigun for sale, and I bought it.

I tried to use it but always missed.

It was about then that I noticed that odd 'level' icon in the lower left.............

I wacked the deathclaw leader in FO2's V13 (Grunthar-something, methinks) before he got the chance to talk to me. I hit the A key as soon as I saw there was a pack of claws in the first room.

I realized that something was wrong when the deathclaws tossed combat taunts at me though and loaded.

 I also got scared of the Deathclaw but I didn't have the reflex to attack him so quickly.
