New game, Bioshock.

Real men use Steam and get Bioshock's demo in little under two hours.

Then you found out Steam does not support that product and nor does 2K games! LAWL lose the game!

Thats why you stay away from Steamized games. The publisher/developer washes their hands of that particular version of the game and all parties point toward each other for support. A quick google search will validate my point on Steam's craptacularness.

Except, you know, for regular updates, getting your games anywhere on the globe, not needing to backup the games as you can always download them etc.

Plus, having used Steam for over three years, I can say that it is the future, as it has never failed me AND continues to expand.

So no, if anything is craptacular it's Michael "Biased journalist" Moore with a stupid smile in your av. :P

I miss walk and lean options.
I don't like the use of dollars for hacking, an least it should be an option in max difficult mode.

Regards

Hah, what ever you say pally. I just go with the facts. Steam has and does have a load of issues with the products it provides. I've been using Steam for quite some time myself and have had issues to the extent of them refunding me on my purchases. They tend to advertise products and not tell you that particular product will not run on a given system. They will suggest you contact the developer while the developer states they sold the product to Steam and they have nothing to do with it.... Its one big cluster fuck, just sift through various developer forums that have sold products to Steam.

On another note. I have to do some work on my 1337 rig, its not 1337 enough to run Bioshock, I'm guessing the 7900 is not cutting it...

Edit: I suppose I'm not the only one that is having troubles, over 1K visiting the support forums of Bioshock and for the most part this is causing the forums to not function.

Hey have you noticed this...?
There's an XBOX LIVE achievement point for...

*GIGA MEGA SPOILER DON'T READ IF YOU'RE PLAYING/GOING TO PLAY THE GAME*

Became a Big Daddy 30
The player has become a Big Daddy.

They couldn't have left it out, huh?

Reference: HERE

Are those things even remotely human?

Hoo-dee-dum, fuck. I just brows through the entire fucking list of the achievements. Spoiled the storyline.

Still want to see how it unravels though.

That particular option was mentioned in one of the previews, that you can become one with the appropriate plasmid.

I don't know if this has been posted....

So,
there's a fan made beta patch for the BioShock DEMO which enables Shader Model 2 class video cards to draw the game.
This is good news for those who can't afford themselves an up-to-date graphics card.

Keep in mind that this patch is not without flaws.

You can grab it HERE

Completed it twice already. I'm hooked. The art deco style and the steampunk has me hooked worse than a crack addicted guy in the middle of Inglewood.
I don't generally like shooters, but this one has me hooked based on the style and well the major moral choice you make sometime in the beggining. Ugh, it made my heart sink doing that, just cause it was so scared.

Uh... my serial number doesn't work.... can anybody PM me a link to find one?

Seriously, I did buy the game, don't judge me.

Well, I completed it yesterday.
Saved every little sister.

What a plot twist though.
same, though that wasnt entirely the ending i wouldve chosen. ;)

wouldve been nice to be able to have a choice in the matter. though the ending given is satisfiable enough.

just do the manual activation or contact support@securom.com

they'll handle it quickly.

I"m a little tentative to contact support@securom.com because I spent so much money"purchasing the game".

I do not need a keygen or anything like that. That stuff is illegal anyway.

If all else fails I'll take my chance with support.

As for your serial number, I think you need to have caps lock turned ON all the way, and plese remember the hyphens, the _ between the numbers.

One error I some time makes is not write an O when I should write an 0 (zero) or write G when I should write C. The letter B can be nistaken for 8m the letter D can sometimes be mistaken for 0 (zero).

The easiest thing would be click the activate manual button, though.
