NFL - The Thread, '08.

holy shit...that's beautiful...that guy has lost his fucking mind. i love watching him because it's like a train wreck.

did anyone see him speaking during the pack vs bengal preseason? he actually said (keeping in mind that his jersey number is 85) that he feels "85% sure" and that number came up randomly in the inteview at least two more times. we were cracking the fuck up with that business!

ok. shit. i just checked your second link. that's what i was talking about. hehe. also...i guess the number didn't come up two more times. three cheers for my memory!!!

This is a while back, but this is fascinating

I'm not sure if I'm fascinated by the nonsense that comes out of his mouth or by the fact that he's actually able to speak.

Seriously

Hey, relax, He's "bout' ta sho yu in a minute."

I'm not sure if the guy expected a divine force to intervene and show us something... The game was over... I don't ... God, I had a pretty good laugh though...

I loved that interview from last year where Keyshawn interviewed Chad. He made "just give me the damn ball" Keyshawn look grounded, responsible, rational and humble in comparison. Wow. Remember how Keyshawn got shut down few years back for getting in Gruden's face?

Remeber this hit on Chad? And the subsequent incoherent interview?

He's on my fantasy roster, hopefully his need for attention manifests itself in TDs rather than the usual drama.

Ocho-cinqo, what a douche.

edit:
I saw on ESPN last night he wants to legally change his name to Ocho Cinqo.

Attention whore much?

The biggest problem here in New England is that the regular season is completely superfluous.

Wake me up for the playoffs.

To make matters worse the Pats face the weakest strength of schedule this year. Talk about not fair.

They do play at Indy, at SD* and at Seattle. Everything else is against below .500 teams.

*Watch for LTs customary post-pats whine-a-thon after this one.

While trying to educate myself on the subject of this very popular sport I came across a very educational little video:

"There is so much about this game that is so confusing"

As a Norwegian though I am kind of genetically forced to go "Gooooooooo, Vikings!"

God, "Hommie don't play dat!"

At any rate, the Seattle Vs Chicago game yesterday was ultra awesome for Seattle in oh so many ways. Now that the Seahawks have rid themselves of Shaun Alexander and brought in new talent, a new star has been given chance to shine. Justin Forsett is EXACTLY what they needed. 261 total yards (technically 311) in a pre-season game as a rookie, pure pwnage. Seattle has a running game again and apparently a great kicking game, it looks as if they didn't need greedy Josh Brown afterall.

A over time pre-season game... What the hell eh?

Edit: And what the hell, Charlie Fry doesn't suck eh?

I've been a football junkie for a long time, but you can't pay me to watch pre-season football. I've even been to a few preseason football games and I had to leave before half-time.

It's just so...meaningless.

Same goes with the Pro-bowl. I want to like it, but it just doesn't do it for me.

How Rex Grossman is employed as a QB in the NFL is one of the universe's great mysteries.
Orton's getting hurt and Rex will start again.

giants and browns right now. anyone watching? should be a good game (preseason or not).

can the pack show some flavor later? hmmm....

(justin.tv btw, ftw!)

Runs to see if Quinn is playing!

yo. i have to say....Rodgers looked goddamn good tonight. seriously. even without Grant, the Pack looked pretty tight.

What the hell was up with the announcers of that game? I thought they were strait from the Golf Course... boring as hell.

hehehe, i know. must be a denver thing?

EDIT: i'm real interested to watch the browns vs lions today if it's on jtv.

So the Browns were not on yesterday after all? Will Brady Quinn be playing? If so, I'll have to record it as I'm headed off to PAX but don't want to miss that man play.

wassup w/the quinn-boner?

anyway, yesterday was just a replay of last week's game. and it doesn't look...so far....as if it'll be on that channel.
