NFL - week 13 seems like as good a week as any

Just don't SHHHHHHH speak of he who must not be named TO!

I have a rivalry from way back when the 49ers(me) beat Dallas(pops) out of their superbowl winning ways.

Niners lost to the Panthers, sigh.

Hey BN, what happened to your Jags that were supposed to beat the colts?

Anyway, looking forward to the Pats and Ravens tonight, if only for a beatdown. Then again, the last time I thought that was the time they played the Eagles...

The Colts cheated :D

Heh, I always pick Jags over Colts. Jags got more heart. But both time injuries got them down. And I have to begrudgingly admit that the Colts simply are a bit better than the Jags. Not significantly better, the room between the #2-#4 in the AFC (Colts, Jags, Steelers) isn't all that big.

At least my Hawks won in a tough fight.

Don't forget all the injuries the Colts have...:freeney:

True that. I could argue that the first time they lost due to the Garrard injury, but this time both teams were too injury-riddled to really call it.

As for the Pats...

Their only challenges left are the Steelers and the Giants. the steelers having a fantastic defense (150 pass yds per game) and the Giants having some of the best pass rushers around, Eumenyioura (spelling?) and Strahan.

the steelers shut down Cincinatti, and they have one of the better passing games around, what with Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmanzada. I give them a fairly good chance of beating the pats, but then again they lost to the Jets...

Huh...that's a bit of a surprise. I mean the closeness of it. I skipped it.... I knew who was going to win, so I figured.... why bother? I saw Seven Days in May for the first time instead. Which I'm pretty sure is a much better use of two hours than Pats versus anyone this season.

The Pats sure didn't look perfect the past two weeks. Odd shit.

BN, your heart was correct for Seattle... How far ahead does that heart look?

Heh, not far. In fact, I'm not sure about this game vs the Cardinals, 'cept that history dictates the Hawks win. But this year's Cardinals are a pretty underrated team.

My prediction...steelers win next week.

Did anyone see the last pass of the game by Baltimore? They were 2 yards away from winning. The Pats really stole a win from the Ravens.

Great defense + good QB = loss?

The Steelers have been erratic all year. Erratic means they have flaws, flaws means they can be exploited. Nobody exploits flaws like Bill.

They'll simply be out-coached.

Great defenses can't do anything about the Pats. Well, at least, that used to be the case. I'm thinking these past two weeks were just exceptions to the rule, but I might be way, way off.

Well, as can be seen from the last three weeks, they're both pretty erratic, the Steelers losing to the JETS of all teams, and the Pats bareley squeaking out wins against teams with losing records that rightfully should have had their asses handed to them. And yes, Bill definitely has the edge as far as coaching prowess goes.

Yeah we all know how dominate the Pat's are. I mean, they are really talented. BUT, I don't think fans treat Bill with the respect he deserves. NONE. The bottom line is he's a f***in' cheater. And their should be room for cheaters in the NFL. If you ask me, he shoulda been barred or atleast put on probation for that stunt. I mean.. c'mon. With an all-star team on his roster, why would he even need that garbage? To sleep better on the bye-weeks? He's a cheater and even though their undefeated-holds no dignity or honor within him.
