NFL - week 13 seems like as good a week as any

Super bowel? Well...and how can you have 2 AFC teams?

I think he might be hoping Steelers make it through for AFC and the Hawks for NFC.

Reiterating that I love the Hawks, that is so not the Superbowel I'd want to see this year.

Oh well, you can't blame a man for trying to sneak in some pro Niners propaganda, sigh.

Pro Niners... WHAT THE>! WHO ... *squints* your joking right?

I must through dutiful service to the most ancient esteemed glorious organisation that is the Niners, insist they will once again reign supreme. Bringing to the long downtrodden faithful all the rewards of a magnificent return.

*flails arms erratically*

You will see, you will all SEE!!!

Heh, I am probably crazy as hell for continuing to pull for the lost cause that is the Niners, but I'm not "that" insane (yet).

Well you have to stick with the home team and or favorite. Hell... The Seahawks had nothing going for them -EVER, until the past 5 years.

Sure there were the times that they made it to the playoffs only to be completely obliterated in the first game. Sure there were the days when Seattle was featured on Monday night just because folk wanted to see a team call a punt on 1st down or a 80 yard field goal on 3rd and 1... Those days, I think, are gone for a good long while. I will enjoy a home team that people don't laugh at... most of the time.

So sir, I salute you and I understand what you are going through.

Until three months ago, I lived in Los Angeles most of my life. We didn't have a home team.....cept the Raiders. We don't talk about the Raiders. *grumblegrumble*

Though, I'll be honest, despite the major regional rivalry, myself and many others were happy to root for the Brees/Schotenheimer Chargers. I miss Martyball.

Wow, those of you that have a choice of games to watch this Sunday. I'd suggest the Seahawks game. The weather folk did not forecast snow. It's so bad at the border between Washington state and Canada that the border is closed. Down south in Centriallia (below Olympia Seattle and Tacoma) police have stated that they can not keep up with the amount of snow related accidents (overwhelmed).

In Tacoma (a few miles south of Seattle) snow has began to fall. East of Seattle and Tacoma as of an hour ago snow has started falling in near white out conditions.

So far where I am at, across the Puget sound from Tacoma, its just been a few flurries. Tacoma has seen some snow but nothing is sticking yet. It's predicted to not get much warmer than 40 degrees F... Since they didn't seen the snow coming, I don't know what to expect.

I'm off to El Pueblito in Gig Harbor to watch the game (best Mexican food ever). I do hope, for another snowy Qwest field game! Go Hawks!

Did I hear this right, Tebow went an became the first Sophmore to win the Heisman.

You know what us fans of losing teams always say next year, next year...........

I watched the Patriots vs Steelers game, all I can say about that is don't piss Tom Brady off.

I tried to watch the Colts vs Ravens.

People are ragging on the Lions and mocking Kitna's "we'd be disappointed if we didn't get 10 wins" (note: he's not predicting 10 wins, which people keep claiming he did. He never did), but damn...do you see how much that franchise is improving? They're an O-line upgrade or defensive upgrade away from being contenders. The only problem is Kitna isn't the QB for the future, especially not the way he's being manhandled. He's a warrior, though, he'll last.

But if you look at the way they're growing variances in their offence...they basically pounded the ball against Dallas and almost came out with a win. They were one fumble away, too bad about that one.

Seriously, if you can go toe-to-toe with a Superbowel favourite like that it's no longer time to call it one of the worst franchises out there. That's purely the Oakland Raiders, now.

GO HAWKS GO! Returning to form, if without a running game. I wouldn't have believed it before this game, but they're becoming the dark horse candidate for the superbowel.

But as I said before, those playoff teams and the Steelers who have an upcoming game against the Pats (#1 defense anyone?) will know where to start.

Good thing the #1 D Steelers knew where to start, amirite? Imagine they didn't, then maybe the opposing QB wouldn't end up with a stat line that reads 4 TDs, 0 INTs, 0 sacks and a 69.6 completion percentage.

They allowed two 50+ yard TDs, 63 yards to Randy Moss and 56 yards to...Jabar Gaffney.

I'll repeat it again for those who still haven't noticed, you can't stop the Pats, the Eagles were a fluke no need to gloat, taking away Randy Moss doesn't work, and even with a crippled running game they're still the best offence in NFL history.

I wish people could just enjoy it more rather than be so frustrated by greatness.

So the raiders are worse than the 0-13 Dolphins? And the Rams, and the Jets?

You think the Raiders are worse than the niners? Apart from having a better record, they play in the AFC, not the NFC, the conference loaded with teams that couldn't win games to save their lives. Now I'll admit that the Raiders suck, and have for a few years now, but at LEAST they have something to look forward to.

I said "worst franchise", not "worst team". The worst team is the Dolphins.

I can't take you seriously since your remarks on the Steelers vs Pats, though. I mean: ahahahaha!

Yeah, old Al Davis is...senile, at best ("I'll retire when the Raiders win 2 more superbowls"), but all the Dolphins have to look forward to is a #1 Draft pick (nothing to sneer at) and Ricky Williams.

Well, the Real Pats finally showed up, and put the Steelers in their place. Go figure, they almost lose to two teams under .500 and beat one that's winning its division.

Don't misunderestimate the Dolphins. They'll dump the oldies like Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor and then ram headfirst into reconstruction. It's actually a pretty good attitude to take, compared to their earlier "buy veterans and win now" attitude. If they reconstruct right, they could be back in contention in 3-4 years.

The Steelers might actually lose North to the Browns. Whodathunk? I certainly underestimated the Browns.
