OCC- First Mission

just some random thoughts here:

as far as i can see, the most probable groups are:

1) fenix + rob + chua (+ maybe 'Zed' from evilzealot when he gets back?)

and

2) kahgan + Tenel Ka (npc) + Jack

 chua is a tribal, same for Tenel Ka, i'd have to bust his/her balls daily  , so that wont work that well as a group

 group 2 has a heavy support gun (the browning m2), it's unlikely the BoS supervisors would put a light support weapon into that group as well (me and my Minimi)

this kinda leaves thorgrimm & i as oldskool war veterans

maybe i could team up with him ?

SuAside, sure that works, maybe you were the one who threw the grenade, that saved him from the mutant! That could work well!

Cheers Thorgrimm

That is the basic plan I came up with as well.

Evil, you (suAside), and thorgrimm will all be in one group unless evil drops out then it is just you and thorgrimm. I am still trying to decide how to bring thorgrimm to the BOS group but as soon as he is this will probably be the line up.

hmm, i was thinking of joining chua to jack,, tenel and me....i aske dhim, he's okay with it, but, hey, if you guys want it the other way, then okay by me :)

my comment was just a random observation, lets wait and see what alba has to say about it

Tenel Ka isnt a tribal.
In fact, her Intelligence wouid be above Jacks if it was ingame.

THe grenade could have been Jack, he still has a M-79 GL remember.

psycho, we are in woods far away from the hub

tenel ka not being tribal could very well be, but the name sounds like it though ;p  my mistake

as for the grenade... already posted about that dude, way too late

Arco had gathered up the “troops and began to divide them into groups, 162 men and 8 BOS members to lead. It was clear that they would be divided into groups of twenty with a BOS leader and subgroups of ten with a BOS appointed leader. Arco began the division putting Tenal Ka, Jack, and Kahgan in Gorith group, Chua, Rob, and Fenix in Worf. The others were part of these groups or part the other five. Arco was in charge of all eight groups.

the highlighted are possibly the names of the C.O.s (commanding officers)

hmz kinda misread in speedy reading

read it as: "in Gorith's group, ... in Worf's."

or however it's written in english ;-)

Remember you guys share in this- so cooperation is key.

I would also suggest that someone start posting from another person's view. I have introduced two enemy characters, but there is no reason we should limit it at that.

The Mutants the Max group is running into are not those belong to Corr.

Remember these are mutants and very tough. REmember these are damn hard to kill (thorgrimm and suaside- don't make it too easy).

dont worry dude, i'm pretty much a pseudo reality freak when it comes to RPing. never liked a battle where a single fighter whipes out an entire squad rambostyle...

anyhow, on another note: how do you guys see it? should we meet up with the main BoS group now that welsh stated you moved 5 days south by southwest while we are trecking north?

i'll just wait and see what albatross says...

meanwhile i'll try to get some inspiration for this and the other RPs ;)

Well, Welsh i do not think that last battle was too easy, Hell Thor almost died. :) And dude if you look at his background and stats, he has not done anything that was outside the possible. 8) Also Welsh, heros stand out from normal humanity because they ARE special. So Saying you are wimps and the muties are gods, is also not the right way to go :) From experience you build up your troops morale, not keep kicking it down, or your troops will be as bad as you keep telling them, and say screw it at the first opportunity.

As i can tell you what Thor will say if Max and his lieutenants start the maggot bashing in his direction. :D

Cheers Thorgrimm

Nor am I saying that muties are gods and humans are wimps. But lets be honest, in much of fallout, for the early characters, the mutants are quite fierce and deadly. These are a power foe not to be taken lightly, so I don't want us getting into the habit of making them seem easy.

Nor should we forget that the Master created more than just mutants for his army. Those we have yet to see.

I also think we can lighten up on BOS as drill sergeants in the marine. Max might have little respect for the irregulars but he respects his BOS troopers and will respect good fighters. But good fighters have to prove themselves first.

This is especially true as Max is also seeing this mission as exile from the BOS- the mission basically means that Max and all the BOS are expendable and, as early posts indicated, a political risk.
