I was just adding it in as part of the conversation about the direction Halo could take and what to avoid. Not too similar to COD and not too similar to Doom.

I love how in the new Halo saga they had awesome forerunner worldbuilding they relegated to books instead of the games themselves. Then used the most dried up crud cliched parts from that lore and made sure that only the book readers even understood wtf was going on. That sure was cool of them.
 
My favorite 343 release has been the Master Chief Collection as it's a collection of 5 kickass games and another game.

I'll probably end up playing Halo 4's campaign but its multiplayer is DOGSHIT. It was so bad that when we bought Halo 4 on launch we couldn't even be fucked to play the campaign.

The campaign was so bad that it started off my fan fiction autism back in 2012 when I wrote a long lost draft script for how the state of the lore and the story SHOULD have been at the ripe age of 13.

When I first joined I was pretty middling on Fallout 3 and 4 was just a distant rumour at that point, so I wasn't too disappointed at all. It was only when 4 revealed the voiced protagonist in the first trailer that the downward spiral truly began.
 
I feel like a bad person for laughing at all the Chris Chan fucking his mom memes. But damn are they funny.
