I mean, fuck. Look at him. Just look at him
That doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the view distance and the animations. Oh the animations.

Look at this:

I laugh every time.

I just cracked up. He looks like he shit his pants.
Also, try not to accidentally send any crazy hypnotic shit next time Mr Graves

Not to mention how unstable Morrowind was. It's fun poking at and making jokes about Troika Games for creating buggy mess of games but somehow Elder Scrolls always get a free pass? GTFO.
On one trigger error in Vampire: Bloodlines there's three random crashes in MW and a glitched quest-related NPC.

I've never had any problems out of morrowind. Well occasionaly I get to that point where the floor just decides its not a floor anymore... But that been pretty rare.

Well, I had all they way till I got bored of it and went uninstall.exe on this game. Funny how people magically starting having problems with Oblivion and Skyrim but that's a no-no for MW.

I never had problems with oblivion either. Skyrim had more bugs than a fuckin rainforest but morrowind and oblivion were pretty clean as far as I can remember.

I just played morrowind for the first time last year. I've just not had that many technical difficulties with it. Aside from that floor thing. Its a solid game with some questionable design choices.

The great lore and fun exploration are a huge plus, though, not to mention its inventive art design. All the other TES games are so generic compared to Morrowind.
Exactly, it's why I loved it. It made Skyrim and Oblivion look generic as fuck, as if Tolkien came and had a shit, and then Bethesda shoveled it up and tried to make Middle Earth out of it.

I dont see how its unreasonable to be that guy that refuses to play a game if it has potato graphics.

I guess it's because I grew up with games like this and much older ones where the looks were the least of the games worries, but I never fully understood these kinds of stances. If the game is fun, why does it matter if it looks dated (especially the older games)?

Graphics arent important. Art design is. Morrowind imo is bad at both.

I don't care about graphics or animations enough for them to be a deal breaker. As I said I play morrowind. But you can't deny that all the animations in that game were garbage even for it's time. There's a difference between "dated" and "it was never this bad".

If that's a reason to not play older games, quite a lot of fun is left unexperienced.

Sure, it looks dated; almost as if the characters had pinecones up their asses. But it compares well enough to other good games of its time, like Deus Ex and Gothic 1 & 2 as far as visuals and animations go.

Hey i aint saying all old games are shit. Morrowind is tho. I like little big adventure for example and that game is basically polygon: the game.
