hey, i wasnt sure what to do with the 1.05 patch, i extracted the stuff out of it and put the context alongside the current files (ie i put everything from inside the ''maps'' folder inside the folder called ''maps'' in my c drive, rather than replacing the ''maps'' folder altogether. Was i meant to do that :?:
So far the dog tags are on the soldier and the remains of the cow things are there, but the B-team mod isnt there. (how do i fix this!)
Also i wanted to know, what mods and patches are in 1.05, aside from the patches 1.02, 1.03 and 1.04 and B-team.

ive found a solution, the stuff on the patch didnt apply to my old games, but only to my newly created game - sorry if this was mentioned before. is there anyway of gettin my old games to have the 1.05 features?
 
Map changes should be the only thing missing from an old save game, since save games contain their own versions of the map files and only refer to the stock map files the first time you enter an area. That being said, there's no way to "fix" it, you'll just have to start a new game. I don't know why the B-Team Mod wouldn't be working for an old save, though, it has nothing to do with maps.
 
me thinks i screwed up, i played the game with the 1.05 then realised that u have to change all the items and critters to read only. will this have major effect? (ive changed them all to read only now) shall i re install f02 and the patch?

The reason that I wasn't very active for the time was that I didn't had any internet connection available. Now I have it and everything will be as before. :wink:
The 1.06 patch is almost ready. Just a couple of days (3 or 4) and I'll release it. Peace.

My only request is too fix the mag (it is actualy a 50 round mag, I recomend having a 10 round burst setting) capicity of the P90, my favorite non-gauss weapon :)
 
Yes and I have Silent Storm to carry me until the patch is out. I am happy...not that much since a prospect girl who would become my first girlfriend just took up with another guy.
 
Changing the P90 from a 2-burst to a 5-burst would be a huge change. It wouldn't really be the same gun. And it would be quite overpowered. Being limited to 2 bursts is what kept the P90 a balanced weapon before.

If possible can you please tell me(us), how many new critters/items there are now and if this patch is still
compatible with the miria mod ?

It would help to prepare my Mac-Version of it.
(The critters. and items.lst need to be handled separately)

Celestial, i have an idea for 1.06, you should be able to get sulik to open the doors which require strenght, much like vic fixes stuff for you. that way u can change the ''locked'' door to the ''stuck'' door once again. also did u add lodsa stuff to vault cities vault in the lockers etc? i also think u removed the wrong report in gekco, only the coolent report is there... One more thing, is fire gekco skin meant to be invisable? and is the ''zip'' gun meant to have a picture, or is it meant to be a square saying ''zip'' in it? OK maybe that was 2 things...

Currently, the P90 has a 24 round mag, with two bursts with 12 rounds each.

what I proposed was making it have two 10 round bursts, with a 50 round mag (the correct mag capacity.)

It wouldnt be that overly powerful with the correct specs added, as it would have the same genral firespecs as a HK-G11, which also holds 50 rounds and has 5 10 roound bursts if I recall right,.

The Zip gun is part of the game, but was never used or given a inventory picture.

Dont feel bad.

It's not noticed becasue it isnt in the game.

The weapon was made up, and given a placeholder inventory pic (says ZIP GUN in bright colors) but not used ingame.

Zip gun and Phazer were added in 1.05, just incase you didn't knew. :!:
