And back to the topic. I wonder when Celestial's patch is coming up. I'm itching to play FO2 again, but I'm a wee bit afraid to start it because of the updates coming in 1.06. And is 1.06. compatible with 1.05? And do I have to first update Fallout 2, then apply the 1.05 and after that 1.05 update 1. And then the soon to come 1.06? Or will just applying the 1.06 do the whole thingy?

And those of you who haven't yet noticed the sarcasm in my previous post: Please do finish the mod. And please please preeeettyyy please make it compatible with the 1.06 patch. Any mod that is made and FINISHED is a valuable donation (hmmm addition) to the Fallout society. The fuel of the machina.

Yea mutants rising But as Kotario always points out (because I forget to mention them) there is also Fanmade Fallout (At least thats what I think they are called). Thats why I joined MR as I got sick of waiting for the mods to come out, I thought I'd speed it along a bit

I'd been playing the 1.04 'patch' version of the game until things started going werid in The Den and apon searching the forum found the reason why

Anyway, I had a couple of questions regarding this patch and snice I can't find a 'mod help' forum, here'll have to do...

Do these patches (1.04, 1.05 and 1.06 when it's ready) require the previous version to be installed or does each stand alone as a single patch... ie, I do a fresh install of FO2 (version 1.0 according to the readme) and then add the latest 1.06 patch...? ... and then I'm ready to play?

Greetings!

You don't need the previous versions of the patches. They're all stand-alone. Just update it from 1.0 to 1.06 directly. You can do the fresh install and then use 1.06 patch OR just delete all subfolders and files in DATA directory except SOUND folder. Then just install the lastest patch.

when I applied patch 1.05 directly on my fresh installed fallout it gave the the "wandering-trunk" bug again. I don't got that bug when in applied the 1.05 patch over 1.02. It might be the of other mod i've installed tho...
