Outdoorsman. There're several cool items you can find it with it, so it's definitely a worthy investment.

From the top of my head
Unique 10mm pistol near the wrecked car next to Silver Hotel, sewer entrance connected with a small quest on the same screen, a pendant for a drunkard in Cotton Club is hidden near the bunker next to Stryker's, shotgun at the Hawthorne railway station, glasses for a junkie next to Hard Rock, guitar string on the same screen, casino chip under the Vegas sign, unique knife next to Vegas PD
 
Yeah I found the Unique 10mm pistol, the pendant and loads of other items. I have the upgraded metal detector. I have about 50 in Outdoorsman currently but I will put more into it. There's an item next the the entrance to Clean City that I can't get up of the ground.
 
I remember finding combat armor with detector but it was Crazy Edition. It was the only one in entire game.

I am in Battle Mountains right now.
Big Guns I found so far:
Flamer, minigun, m60 and its weaker counterpart, rocket launcher. Are there more?

You can get one for completing the warehouse assignment for Vault. By then you'll probably have PA though.

Sadly, only in game files. :(

Upgraded flamer, grenade launchers and different miniguns. Plus an energy weapon that deals 100-200 damage and had to be reloaded for $1000 at Hoover Dam.
 
Fast Shot is such a waste in this game...
I was looking for every shelf and container and I didn't find the scalpel. Where can i find it?

I found scalpel in Wind of War.

My thoughts so far:
EVERY trait has a trade off.
All skills are useful except first aid.
Ammo is scarse which is good I have used different guns.
Perks that were shit in Fallout 2 now are very good. Toughness or Thief for example. Even comprehension is worth considering now!
Assault Rifle with AP ammo just shreds people and Earth dragons to pieces.
I started with 2 Endurance and every bandit encounter is just game over, cause there are no companions.

After reading whole ddraw.ini I found that Hard combat setting gives enemy NPCs 2 action points! That explains why those fuckers shoot twice in a turn and Combat Armored enemies even bursts twice a turn! Also with Enhanced Battle AI they reposition themself quite intelligently.
Overall I am quite suprised cause this version is much harder than Crazy Edition.
I think Ironman no reload is impossible at this rate.
 
Joined a bit late, Running Linux+Wine, everything has installed with a few minor adjustments. More save scumming than used to, map ambushes can kill you without even getting a turn. (Level 13) Give me XP!
 
I have 2 in charisma so I might try that if that's the case.
Yes, just eat 5 Candy.

Reno. Men can star in the jazz band in Cotton Club, women get pole dancing.
Women can bring a comic to Cotton Club from Vegas.
Nice. I'm finally going to be able to do that pole dancing. I've delivered the comedian to Cotton Club already. Didn't know candy boosts your Charisma and I have a lot of candy...

I'm in the middle of playing other games so I will catch up if possible. Just decided to delay my W2 LP so I can catch up quicker.
 
I've decided to make some adjustments to weapons and armor using proto editor and make new character. In Honor to great ECCO mod. Also small weapons are one handed pistols and smgs.
Big guns are all two handed rifles and shotguns as well old Big Guns. I think Sonora has similar idea. It was driving me crazy that 90% of weapons used Small Guns Skill.
That Scorpion Armor is pretty much the same as Leather Armor Mark 2 so it got 2DT.
10mm SMG bursts 6 bullets instead of 10. Big Guns in this mod bursts 10 ammo so it was just crazy OP making m60 obsolete. Even Assault Rifle used 8 bullets per shot!
Now all burst attack need 7 AP and small pistols 4Ap per shot.
