I'm mixed about Nevada's encounters- on one hand you've got a lot of unique ones or ones connected with quests, but majority of time you fight rats, scorpions, spore plants and those 3 bandits with melee weapons (or 2 with melee and 1 with pistol).

Did you take Better Criticals? It changes the critical table and adds those instakills.
Yeah, I always take this perk, wish it only add the 20% crit damage. I guess there's no fix for that? (Well, it's not the end of the world, but I don't remember those instakills in FO1, I remember obliterating Lieutenant with a Gatling Laser)

What's the deal with Nelsons shotgun. You have to fix it immediately? I have repaired it now but I have no option to give it to him...

e: You can't give the shotgun to Nelson.

I think it's Barter check, but he mentions both the shotgun and dynamite cache in the mine if you ask him for supplies for dealing with worms.

It's yours to keep if you fix it.

Just so you know, I've repaired it and the Combat Shotgun is better. Is not a bad shotgun by any means though ... The weakest Shotgun I saw was the "Savage" (even when you have the bandolier attached to it) which I traded for a guy Big Louie wanted you to "deal" within Reno.

Ok! He gave me the key to the shed in the mine so I got the dynamite. It must have been because I left Uranium City and went to Reno to repair the shotgun. Or as you say that my barter skill is to low.

The walkthrough reads a bit cryptic on this issue:
-There's a broken shotgun lying in the Uranium City shaft Nelson. You need scrap metal and spare parts to fix it. You can't return a gun later.
The last part makes me think that you have to give it to him immediately. I wonder what the reason is for that from a game design point of view?

I think I will just kill Nelson now that he wont accept his shotgun and reward me.

How would you rank the Fallout listed in this event of Fallout 22 ?
I'm not the right person to ask, yet. But after having spent 2022 replaying the games I hope I can answer. A safe bet however would be Fallout 1, that's what I would say while still being on Fallout: Nevada.

Does the game lagging for you too guys? There is 1 sec lag when I choose target or skill.
I have this in both games Fallout Et Tu and Nevada

Found out you can get Bertollini's package without courier and his escort dying.

Run up to them, Stealth and Pickpocket the package, turn off Stealth and the courier will escape the map. Console said that I failed the mission, but I was able to progress normally by handing the case to Louis.

Happy to hear that! I hope you still have things left to discover...

I just arrived in Las Vegas. I need another 3k to buy the car and then I will transport the miners to Uranium City. How much of the game would you say is left once you're done with Reno?

If by Reno, you also mean Gerlach, Black Rock, Lovelock, Bridgeport, Uranium City and Hawthorne- I'd say 40%.
Both Vegas and SLC are smaller than Reno and there're only 2 other settlements (and a few locations to explore) before endgame.
