/pol/shit, Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the shitposting

This is too good.
Wait, don't tell me, you did something stupid like pick a soft sciences major and now you're in full sunken-cost-fallacy defensive mode. Ah, who am I kidding, you probably wouldn't even make it into a post-secondary institution to begin with. Do they have universities in your pathetic shithole country?

Considering I am a professional Web Designer and Audio visual producer.... I probably have more degrees than you. And make more money.

To be fair, a social science degree these days is more a disqualification than anything else, but Chomsky did his real academic work before social sciences got ruined.
I don't necessarily agree with him on everything, but I can't deny that he's smart.
I don't agree with him on everything either but he is on point about most of the shit. It's just his agenda towards climate and Israel that is grating.

So clean CHINA can barely breathe.

FALLOUT HONG KONG

NOT SOLD IN CHINA

I recently watched Vox' video on the Cage apartments in Hong Kong. Extremely depressing, and they all act like it's normal.

Gotta love that late stage capitalism.

Me too. It reminded me of Total ReMAKE.

But don't worry, the market to the rescue.... Now you can live in an Ipod coffin, if you have the money.

Again, I've heard a LOT of what he's saying from people who almost certainly have never read/listened to Chomsky in their lives. Pretty sure he's wrong about nuclear war, possibly because he's an old fart and still stuck in a mindset about 30 years plus past its sell-by date. Climate change is a more valid and pressing issue. It's also a massive prisoner's dilemma except one of the other big "prisoners" in the game is China and China will at BEST pay lipservice to reducing environmental impact and almost certainly never do anything to genuinely ameliorate the issue. Yes, Trump is a distraction, it's actually impressive that he's able to accomplish that without starting an actual war (that was going to be Hillary's plan for keeping people stupid). If I had to choose between the two, I'd still take Trump because Hillary was keen on picking a fight with the single other country on the face of the planet that could give America a fucking killer wedgie in a straight-up fight.

Everyone is WRONG about shit. That does not mean some barely adult shitposter knows more than some 80 year old fuck that lives and breathes /pol and eats pieces of shits like you for breakfast.
