/pol/shit, Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the shitposting

Did you even watch the video Toront posted?
Did you? Our nukes are mostly broke-dick shit by now. Russia might have some nuclear teeth still with its newfangled fucking cruise missiles but we're fucking limping by. A lot of our SLBMs don't fucking WORK anymore, for fuck's sake.

Everyone is WRONG about shit. That does not mean some barely adult shitposter knows more than some 80 year old fuck that lives and breathes /pol and eats pieces of shits like you for breakfast.

I doubt he gets through an entire bowl of Cream of Wheat in the morning.

But Toront, he lurks Reddit and 4chan sometimes! He knows everything!

Man, I used to think that it was second year college kids the ones who were the dumbest knowit alls, turns out the internet has bred a worse batch of poorly educated knowitalls.

The fact that this is the best you can bring to the table makes me seriously doubt that "multiple degrees" claim, braintrust.

Nukes will be obsolete soon in case everyone has been oblivious to all the TOP SECRET shit going into space. NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS! https://www.space.com/41507-x-37b-space-plane-nears-one-year-orbit.html

Not that I'm not instantly suspicious of the renewed vigor with which Trump is pursuing the idea of a Space Force, but "They put a secret air force spaceplane in orbit! What does it do? NO ONE KNOWS! WOOOOO!" inspires more curiosity than dread in me. Unless that fucker is carrying something like Rods from God or is there to start fucking satellites' shit willy-nilly I'm not entirely sure what the issue is. I mean, there might fucking BE an issue, but I don't know what it fucking is.

No dread here sir. Just the future of warfare.

I find surveillance a more likely motive. Our government REALLY fucking likes that lately. I mean, think about it, what does a reusable, relaunchable spaceplane presumably with customizable payload and lots of maneuvering thrusters do better than a satellite? I know military acquisitions tends to be fucking pants-on-head but I'm pretty sure they have some kind of plan here that a satellite simply isn't suitable for. More I think about it the more I'm pretty sure it's antisatellite shit. They can do just about anything else easier and safer with a satellite.

  1. It can take off from Earth with a payload of boom-boom, and camp out in outer space for a year just waiting for someone to try something. Nobody has a way to stop this. I find it amusing people are so stuck in the WW2 days they do not realize we are about to have a war in space.
  2. It can take people on the other side of the planet really fast.
  3. It can deliver supplies.
  4. It can shoot a laser to disable satellites...or possibly other craft.
  5. SPYOPS. TOP SECRET ADVANCED TECH NOT PRESENT ON OLD ASS SATELLITES. ALSO TOP SECRET PLANE CAN BE SAID TO BE WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO BE.

Imagine all of our satellites being taken out with a strike from space.

1. So basically a boomer sub in space? I mean, yeah, it could work, but I imagine its payload is like maybe a couple goddamn dead-fall warheads.
2. Maybe, but who would be important enough to move that rapidly, and in what quantities?
3. Actually sounding pretty damn plausible.
4. Our lasers still fucking suck, last I checked. Still a possibility.
5. Surveillance ayyyyy

If they wanted to fry our satellites they could do it with a nuke detonated way up high, the EMP would fucking toast god-knows-how-many. That probably isn't precise enough for their liking - a space plane with a payload of ASATs will do it fucking surgically though.

I won't get into tin foil shit here because some people are closed minded, but think about XCOM without the aliens.

I mean the potential is insane and belongs in my military thread anyway.

I know for a fact we stopped one Korean launch somehow. The writing was on the wall.

You don't consider the NRA to be part of the military industrial complex?

I didn't expect old Bill to stick up for Jones. Maybe he figured out his schtick wasn't working or maybe he sees reason from time to time.

Bill Maher is a prick occasionally but at least he realizes this is fucking retarded

Gillibrandt's a worthless cunt, I've never heard a single intelligent thing come out of her mouth and probably never will

Personal opinion: Maher stuck up for Jones because he gets a little shitlordy occasionally and he sees the writing on the wall - it's going to be him eventually, maybe not now, maybe not in 2 years, but eventually

Yep. His critics got taken off the air for playing his clip and then they changed their fucking tune quick.

It's fucking hysterical how people are trying to paint Alex Jones as some kind of Martyr. He didn't get expelled from everywhere because of some conspiracy to deplataform the right.

His history of libel and legal trouble would've gotten booted out of any sane publication, hell even out of most tabloids. Now he finally gets consequences for his actions after a decade of facing nothing and people are worrying about free speech, despite the fact that he is only getting booted out of semi private services, he isn't getting sent to a gullag or a re-education camp, he just got booted of a website for not following the terms of conduct, he can still host his videos on a server if he wants.
