It isn't merely who STARTED those threads. Look at all the people posting IN them. A vast majority like the wars thread or russia thread, gun control, etc, I found myself defending my positions from MULTIPLE people that were on the other side of me. I am not complaining, merely making a statement. While those leftists I debated against have since gone inactive, their mere presence at the time speaks to me being heavily outnumbered.

You speak of 2016 but keep in mind I have been here pre 2003. I was already registered before NMA switched hosts (or something like that). Yes the numbers have evened out RECENTLY somewhat, but HISTORICALLY, like I SAID, this place has swung left.

Also, the fact that you and your liberal threads have historically dominated the general discussion forum is proof of a leftist slant. What else would you call it when someone on the left mass produces threads while someone like me, never creates threads. You and yours are clearly the ones pushing a liberal agenda and most dominant on the forum.

Yes they have the most time to post since they work fore the gov or do not work at all. But they are usually call out fore the bullshit, on twitter they would be bluecheckmarks and stand unchallenged. It is important you can challenge them and not be permabaned like on our sister sides. NMA have stood the test of time since 1996.

Because if we were to speak of NOW, it is STILL not like how you describe. If anything, the conservative side has kind of evened out. This is also only because some leftys here that were posting as early as a month or so ago have gone inactive.

As brought up before, having someone challenge your arguments isn't getting 'dog piled', it is light debating. The fact that any disagreement is seen as 'dog piling', shows how long the left here have reigned un opposed.

Lastly, my post was directed to Haasknecht, who is a long time poster. Considering he was a long time poster, he was around all those times I spoke of when NMA had more liberals than conservatives.

Considering the fact how words like liberal and leftist are used almost interchangeably here, forgive me if I challange that notion somewhat.

It is simply hard to really have discussions on that topic when people do not even really care to differentiate between leftism or liberalism.

Which is not what I said, nor implied. Literally just scroll up snd you'll see what I'm talking about. It's been like that since I got here. Not complaing, just pointing it out.
I don't shy away from debates, or complain about them anyways so whatevs :shrug:

To be fair, Zinnya Jones is utterly crazy, even by transrights activists.
She'll link to lots of studies about puberty blockers, arguing that non-controlled studies made by pharma companies are just as, or even more reliable than controlled clinical studies. She'll not link to studies studying the decrease of bone density while taking puberty blockers, or other issues.
 
It's really a shame that trans identity is often tied to invasive surgery/etc. Why not just be a more masculine female, or femminine male?
Would save thousands and avoid possible health complications too.

I have nothing against trans people, but if I had a kid that started talking about taking these meds to support their identity I would be a little concerned to say the least.
Not trying to be an asshole as it's none of my business, but getting plastic surgery has always seemed weak and superficial to me.
