Post your favourite Movie scene and rate others!

I like the concept of this thread but can't really agree with the scene you posted, only because I think there are better in the dollars trilogy. I don't like how the bandito had to cross himself to reach for his gun while the other guy didn't. FWIW I think the "laugh at my mule" scene from the first movie is one of the best in any film, if only because it feels so real, especially the close up of the hands firing the gun.
5/10

So then, here's a favorite of mine, from my all time favorite. "sharp sticks" always makes me giggle.

Good scene, funny and great set-up for their tactical debacle. But no more than a 7/10 for me.

Here is just one of my favorite scenes in my second favorite movie of all time:

I really admire how they could have so much going on behind an act as simple as dropping an object to the ground.

Yeah, that's nice one.
My favourite scene?

Hands down one of the most memorable monologues in movie history.

I never liked the idea of selecting "best" scenes out of the film. To me, that's like cropping a part of a huge painting which you like the most - it may be beautiful etc. but it lacks the completeness, and often the point.
However, if I had, just had to pick one:

Eh, kinda slightly a little funny. 3/10

Probably my very favorite movie "monsters" if you can call them that. The shot where they barge into the tavern is one of my all time favorite.

The only villains that top them are Saruman in the sequel and the Skeksis in the Dark Crystal, but really not as far as the tension of the scenes and the horror embodied in the characters goes.

O0o That scene makes me want to watch those movies agina.

That Blade Runner scene made me think of another android movie full of monologues. Here's a scene with exactly zero.

Love how he braces his feet before unloading the clip and it still pushes him.

Good chase sequence. Saw the movie, there are sequels, correct? Those any good? Or the tv series? Anything comparable to that first one?

Anyhow, here's my scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmPyu0ZepJ4

Rewatching this movie right now. An instant classic. Too bad Bruce Willis never really got another good role like that.

You should watch the sequel, Innocence.
It's not Kusanagi-fronted, so to speak, but is on par with the original, both animation and story/philosophy-wise (it's Mamoru Oshii, it's gotta be that way). In fact, when it comes to the philosophical aspect, the sequel is taking things further. Look for a version with good subs though.

I've never seen the series though. Been planning to, but the fan-service I've seen on images kinda drove me away from it, combined with the fact that it is not as "deep" as the films, or so I've heard. Plus, it's just another take at the series, it has nothing to do with the films, but I believe it's closer to the original manga.

I love/hate these kinds of threads, because I can never remember my favorites "on the spot" like this

I gotta say though, when Tyrannosaurus motherfucking rex stomps the ex-electrified fence down, takes a big breath, and roars it out spectacularily, that is a good scene :D
"Boy do I hate being right all the time... !"

I saw The Counselor a couple of months ago, but - now and then - this scene pops up in my mind and I feel really dirty:

 How do you react to a thing like that?
