This song is important to me. It reminds me of how I had found the perfect woman, I fucked it up. Something I will never be able to forget. Beautiful red hair, pale white skin complexion, beautiful bone and body structure, and crystal blue eyes. Her name was Kate (I called her Katie). She was beautiful, and perfect. Didn't drink, didn't do drugs, barely even cussed, and would have done anything for me. The only perfect human being I've ever seen. Anyways,

So yeah, this is a story about something that also happened to me, just without the fame/fortune bullshit. For me it's about what comes with marriage, and the struggle to completely change your life and keep your marriage. He'll say something a bit different though.

It's got a nice blend of soft rock with that depression type of feeling going on, in which it makes the transition to a heavy metal rock with a more metallic sound. A lot of musicians are doing that these days.

Tech N9ne has always put an "unusual"/"strange" taste into all his music. It usually turns a lot of people off, except only those with a hardened stomach and will to listen to new things instead of hanging on to the same old trends.

The acoustic guitar is one of my favorite instruments, but this particular song doesn't appeal to me that much. Still good. 7/10

Roxbury! Roxbury! Roxbury! 7/10. While I personally felt that the song was a little repetitive and generic at times, it still makes for a good song to listen to while you're out jogging or driving. The beat's nice, too.

8/10 Started out strong with some impressive impact, for what it was. The lyrics might have something interesting to say, but it's a little harder to make out than I'd like. It may come off as lyrical dissonance to most people, but I think it captures SPD well.

@Harken, that soundtrack had a great patriotic flavour to it that I really enjoyed. I liked the shifts between the strong metallic percussion and the victorious orchestral music, too. When I was listening in at the three minute mark, I could easily imagine Joan of Arc riding into war with her banner held up high. 8/10.

@alec, I really must thank you for the involuntary trip back in time to the 90's, when MTV actually had half a soul and hadn't yet become the terrible affliction it is today. Out of the three songs you posted, I personally felt that the Butthole Surfers video was the most fantastic (and enlightening); besides, how can you say no to that band? 9/10.

I'm sorry, I can't appreciate whispery guitary songs. I don't know why, but I really don't like it. In my mind it's all the same simple pop indie stuff.
