Red Dead Redemption

That game is horrible beyond belief. IT will suck. It will be a giant bust. Meh...

................Why the hell isn't it coming to pc :'( dammit.
 
I'm sure that this release will come to PC.

RS has spent about 20 times as much development funding and manpower to push this Red Dead out than the previous one's. They are obviously making a showcase title and will want as big of a market as possible.

The original Red Deads were a "Niche" market like "Bully" was.

I mean, a fucking open ended awesome world with rockstar's flair about living out your Clint Eastwood fantasies is going to get attention.



If they don't however, they need to restaff some management departments.
 
This game is basically my class character I use all the time in Fallout 2 without any sci-fi elements.

So, this is gonna be sweet.
 
Would not surprise me if it stays console only. It would just end up getting pirated out the wazoo if they ported it to PC and still be dwarfed by the PS3/360 sales.

Granted I don't guess I would be shocked if it ended up coming to the PC either, even with rampant piracy I am sure they would turn a profit.
 
Porting from the Xbox to PC is pretty easy anyway, especially if you don't care if the product you release on PC is a half-assed piece of shit tech-wise, like GTA IV.
 
Those graphics look too good even for PS3. This is the same engine GTA IV used, and I remember playing it on PS3. It looked good thanks to blurring. But RDR trailers are quite sharp and look more like GTA IV on PC. So maybe they are doing that one for PC too.

Or maybe not :)

But, hell, nevertheless that looks awesome. Much like what I've wanted form GTA IV.

If you look precisely to the trailer, there are some shots where the xbox interface is displayed. Maybe they did an overhaul to the engine GTA IV used...

The more I see about this game, the more I want to play it... And Deadwood being on air here in Belgistan sure doesn't help one bit.

But I don't have a PS3 or an Xbox... Gief PC version!

I'd expect a PC version to be released eventually, but it may take a long time.

Canvas is showing the 3rd season at the moment, every Friday night from 23h30 'till 00h20. It's pure gold, I agree. :)
 
Yeap, I was reminded of Deadwood by this too, I'll definitely have to rewatch it for the nth time. I've been wanting a game that could capture the general atmosphere of this show for quite a while, not that I think this game will do it or anything, just sayin'..
 
When this comes out my life won't see me for about 3 weeks.
