its seems to be a rather generic design to be sure. though I like the awkward placement of the mouth. adds an element of body horror to it. RE needs to go back to doing mutated creatures because fighting humanoids is getting pretty old.
lol someone in the comments said it could pass as a silent hill boss. people love being wrong, I guess.
seriously though the regenerator is one of the greatest monsters in Resident Evil. up there with Nemesis and lisa trevor in terms of inducing fear.
oh speaking of scary noises in RE remember in REmake when you're in the forest and you hear this:

I doubt it'll play like the original RE2. hype is why the gaming industry is able to take advantage of us so easily. I'm going for a more reserved cautious optimism.

I'm nearing the end of my Resident Evil 7 playthrough and I've adjusted my review from a 10 out of 10 to a 9 out of 10 for various reasons. The ending of the game just loses a lot of momentum the more it relies on the Molded as opposed to the Baker family itself. I can't help but wonder if it should have had one of them wandering the Black Freighter (Marguerette) and one of them in the Salt Mines (Lucas?).
Either way, Chris Redfield working for Umbrella is a decent enough twist and I hope we'll be able to work for them in future games. I'm not interested in Umbrella Corps, though, because, well, they suck and I like the idea of working for an evil corporation but prefer to ROLEPLAY it.
Still, I'm loving the current direction.
I'm debating playing Resident Evil: Revelations 2 or a replay of Zero and the remake of the original.
Tough call.
Though I'm inclined to the former because I love Claire and that's my primary reason to want a remake of 2.
these feel like one game together tbh. the end of zero leads right into REmake. so why not start with 0? its one of the more underappreciated entries imo.

After the ship it was downhill.. Yay unlimmited ammo and mass monster + easy end boss \o/ ....
Have you tried revelations 1 yet? If not you should get it before playing REV2 tbh. Keep in mind that raid mode is a lot of fun if you are into it and REV 2 have a worse raid mode IMO. But the campaign is better IMO.
I'm debating replaying the game on Normal with the Albert and just tearing through the Baker family but I *DREAD* the Tanker level and don't want to replay it if I have to do that again with no ammo and goods.
The Tanker is super easy, though. There are plenty of sticky bombs and it's not like you'll need the ammo anymore. That "Rifle" shoots peas but has a big bunch of bullets. There is to note the upgraded pistol/shotgun.
The M22 is a mean machine.
