Resident Evil: Zombies, Plagues, and Hot Main Characters

Got the season pass a while ago and there is a few DLC's out today. So far i've tried 2.

Bedroom: Trying to escape being chained in a bedroom with a lot of puzzle. Nothing more to say really.
21: Saw + Poker.. Terrible DLC imo.

Will update more when i've tried the rest.

Edit: Holy crap Daughter was short...

I'll clue you in for a guy who watched them before he decided to play them.

Daughters is the only one worth a damn and it's way too short.

I was never a fan of 'bite size' DLC.

I'd rather pay another 60$ for something which doubles the 'stuff' in a game, than pay 60$ for a bunch of stuff which takes 30 minutes to beat each, etc.

I agree. I don't see a reason why we couldn't have had a longer series of adventures with Zoe and Mia.

I do have hope for the "Not a Hero" adventure, though since that's already been datamined. It's apparently a couple of hours long.

Daughter was piss short for sure. But Bedroom was interessting enough but also really short. 21 is the worst so far. Not sure if i can even be arsed to finish it on the highest difficulty.. RNG and all.

A couple of hours to me is still 'bite size', at least by modern standards, and how much content will likely be recycled.

Compared to 1-2-3-4-5, the combat in 7 is pretty fucking appaling.

You can't really complain about RE7's FPS combat and act like the first RE games had something "great" i guess 4-5 and to a certain extend 6 had greater combat but the old ones was pretty much click trigger and shot untill they die with a hope for a headshot except the shotgun wish you could aim up and let the zombies get to you for a clean headshot.

Fuck.. I don't like saying good things about RE5! Grrr :P

Edit: Both revelations game had some great combat IMO.

I honestly quite liked 1-2-3's.

Same way Dino Crisis did it, and for its time, it was certainly decent.

More issue with the bloody CAMERA ANGLES to be honest.

4-5, I quite loved, laser sights, no moving while shooting, I just love it that way. XD

Well, three hours but yes, it's not an actual Expansion or a campaign which would require a whole new set of environments I suspect. The price of a smaller and more intimate story is you can't do as much with it.

Really? I thought the combat in 7 was awesome. It was hard but you didn't have to stand still and worked in stealth, various weapons, rationing, and keeping out of the enemy's attacks with three dimensional movement. I think it's some of the best combat in RE7 even though it's clear Ethan sucks at combat.

I'm playing Revelations 2 versus Revelations because my Xbox One can play the former while not the latter. So far, I love the characters (Claire has looked better--she must be getting a lot of stress at her job) even if I don't think Moira quite GETS that her gun aversion isn't the best strategy in a island of mutants.

I admit to being distracted by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn's voice as well since it's so recognizable. It contributes to the anime feel.

My issues with 7 is that it tricks you, it goes "Here's a fucking russian submachinegun which could mulch people and zombies into paste", then it goes "Oh, by the way, the mold creatures are pansies, but that dude with a spikey paint roller is going to survive exploding from a chainsaw (?)".

The Russian submachine gun is what I used against the Final Boss and it tore through her.

:)

It sounds like your issue is with the fact the Bakers are more or less immortal regenerators. I'm cool with that, really, because Resident Evil has never really had to deal with a kind of Jason Voorhees/Slasher movie villain who won't stay dead.

Unless we count Wesker.

The final boss IMO is a little retarded, a giant building sized worm mold thingy shouldn't have less HP than a dude with a shovel.

This guy belongs in a RE game

Dude with the shovel can only be shot with the pistol or the shotgun/chainsaw.

Really, you can roll over him *rimshot* with the car.

I feel like you had a really bad encounter with Jack. :)
