And their styles of government are also based on the western model yes, so what's the problem again?
 
What is western in this case then? "Non western countries" what does thaty mean? Countries that aren't democracies? Does that change the geographical position of a country? THis whole "Western world" narrative is kinda dumb in the post WW2 world.
 
Democracies yes but that has already been mentioned has it not? Things like being able to impeach leaders and vote for leaders are a staple of western style democracy yes?

Because there are many countries who also are corrupt that are monarchies with total power as well. Then there are democracies that really are not except for the name.

Maybe I should have said western style democratic governance. Is that more acceptable to you?

Lol Nixon didn't have much choice really, Tricky Dicky jumped before he was pushed, whereas the Ukraine president Yankovich or Yanukovitch got deposed through a wave of violent protests all because he changed his mind and did not sign a sweetener deal proposed by the EU (probably Poland as they are used as a broker ). So you say CHOICE is all ?So if Trump runs again as many expect and wangles 2 terms I wonder what he will do
 
Impeachment is still not equal to a coup, which is what would happen in many authoritarian countries.

Trump already had one term so he only gets a max of four more years. If he runs again, I doubt he'll get the nomination again. If he did get the nomination, he'd only win if the Dems out up utter trash like Hillary or Bernie again.

Usually the incumbent wins re election and while Biden has not been popular, I doubt he'll lose to Trump.

Ha, Moth in regular ASCII was taken as a name so I had to use the sigma (σ) and tau (τ) unicode characters. Yeh it looks stupid but it works.

Also, despite this account being new I've been both ghosting these boards and have been a member a few times for a while now. I was most active between 2010 - 2015.

The Incumbent just lost. Somewhat successful one as well, all because of the virus of unknown origin. Biden's presidency has been a total trash fire as opposed to Trump's clown circus. But Biden is also a walking corpse so who knows if he even shambles to the the next election. In the end it matter which party is able to appeal the biggest voting block there is. Dead People.
