Jebus said:Yeah, that shit always annoys me too. To be fair though, I so far haven't seen a single movie/television show/comic book/video game/whatever where they DIDN'T get that wrong. I guess there's simply not a single person in the entertainment industry that understand how evolution works and WHY it works the way it does.

Some of our greatest thinkers have been men of faith

Yep. White and black chocolate are completely the same taste as well. They are both candy right.Jebus said:Meh. Spritituality and religion are pretty much the same: it's the same kind of thinking.

Mad Max RW said:Seeing this thread after several months reminded me once more of how unnecessary the movie was. It's just bad, ok. Terminator Salvation bad. Or Predators bad. Not quite Doom the movie bad, but definitely Chronicles of Riddick bad. A friend of mine is trying to salvage something from the mess with his own Prometheus mod for Doom 3. He's a pretty talented guy, a former dev at Rockstar, and some other stuff. I don't know where he's going with it, and trying to understand the thoughts of an abstract thinker is the ultimate exercise in frustration.
