i still remember the first time i shot a short barreled shotgun with 3.5" slugs. yup, that left a mark...

anyhow, one piece of advice on shooting Mausers, K31s, Enfields,...: pull the butt snugly into your shoulder before you fire! if you don't, it will recoil harder and leave more severe bruising!

How much would you guys spend to buy weapons such as these.

For just the gun and nothing else, you'd probably pay around 2000-2100 euros in Switzerland itself.

The price in other countries vary wildly.

I got fairly screwed by the Greek crisis, because it caused the CHF to rise in value compared to the Euro. Ended up paying 300 euros more than first budgetted when I ordered it due to that. Bummer.

I ended up paying 3500 for the package (a lot of accessories are not pictured). Think the rifle itself was around 2750-2800 euros. Keep in mind that mags alone are like 75 euros a pop. (can be had a lot cheaper second hand though)

A used Sig 550 goes for about 1500-1700 euros in the EU.

Well, I'm happy with my $880 AR-15 and my $9 mags.
