He always had a boner for FN-H weapons. This shouldn't come as a surprize.WillisPDunlevey said:According to this video of a bunch of arabs screaming etc., Quaddafi had an engraved and gold plated Hi-Power when they killed him.

What kind of blasphemy is this?WillisPDunlevey said:They also had a stainless steel Luger
Lugers are not "shooter's guns". They work fine with the right ammo, but longevity is not their forte. Especially if you shoot modern 9x19mm through them, they'll wear out fast.WillisPDunlevey said:I really want a P08 Luger and the stainless ones look cool, but I read that some of them have junk internal parts and they can wear out after 100 rounds (not that I know it to be true)
Tanfoglio makes those and you know, here in the EU they have a very hit or miss reputation. If you buy a Tanfoglio, you might get a gun that is basically the best price/quality you'll ever buy. But at the same time, you might get a lemon that can't even be fixed by the best gunsmith in the country.DammitBoy said:I really really want to think the EAA Witness is a good gun, because i want one in 10mm - but I've heard nothing but bad things about them on multiple gun forums.
Even the guys who love them go on and on about all the tweaking they have to do to get them to run well. Their customer service is considered the worst in the industry by everybody who has had to deal with them.
So, that stops me from buying a Witness, even though I want one...

For some reason, americans seem to love these Witness, but I find this very odd indeed...

a) they have this thing called the internet, 10mm ammo is a mouse click away. You don't even have to leave the house.
b) it's not more expensive than good .45 ammo at midwayusa.com
