Yet, I live in "East", yet, I like in the same country as you, and yet, I see more and more people who don't believe in god.

What about this, jimbo. What about if people stop believing in god because they actually start to think for themselves, and not just believe in something... only to believe.
Yeah, remind me, what reason is there exactly for someone to believe in god?

Yeah, obviously there's been crazy religious persecution, though that's generally been one religion over the other.

Romania is neither west, nor east, it's in central Europe. You should know that.

And by EAST, I meant Middle East.

I never wanted to tell you folks about religion. I am not a priest, nor do I adhere to any Church, or some other refrence like that.

I wanted to talk to you about faith.

Why belive in God? He believes in you.

No matter how many people you ask, you will always get a different answer. Everybody has their own reasons.

And when I'm talking about faith, don't asume I'm always talking about God. Have faith in your fellow man, and in your brethren.
 
Anybody watch church today? I saw it out of the corner of my eye. It was pretty good, I thought.

It seems they'll be in trouble for doing just what they've done. They may try to hide behind the First Amendment as free speech, but with their protests disrupting funerals and funerals being religious I think they forfiet their rights when they use them to trample the rights of others. Besides they may claim to be religious, but anyone so hateful probably has other motives and also hasn't really given any meditation on the spirit behind their actions.

Don't be ignorant. The Norse religion encouraged warfare as it was the only way for men to get into Valhalla in which your only duty was to train and eat until the great battle at the end of the world. The Persians went to war for their gods as did the Babylonians. The Greeks fought each other constantly and the romans went out to conquer the world. The Celts would attack other tribes to take heads to gain their enemies knowledge. In the Americas some cultures went to war to get sacrifices.

Christianity and islam are in the minority of religions that promot peace. Hell not even my religion promotes peace or even says war or killing is wrong.

its quite simple...

1) they have the right to picket and protest anything they wish in a non-violent manner

2) the funeral places have the right to refuse access to their property anyone they wish as long as they are privately held properties.

all they have to do is refuse access to members of the phelps family and then they would just have to picket and protest outside the property. if they shout or use loudspeakers, then they can get arrested for disturbing the peace.
