If our fleets become too weak, you'll be crying first as the Russians and Chinses start to flex their muscles for dominance. Which is why all of europe will continue to prop us up as long as it can.

Wait, so we're propping you up but you pumped fake money into the IMF? You're even starting to contradict yourself now.

Oh kharnt, please. Propping up in the sense that you willingly use our currency as the world standard. Jebus wept...

Us? We launched a competing standard option that was actually starting to get rolling before the current crisis. The Euro would quite possibly have been the worst thing for the US, if you hadn't lucked out with Greece and other retardolands.

This obviously a conspiracy by the BRITISH!!!! I knew there was always a reason why they never tied their economy to Greece and Slovakia!

also....

Yourepeans gonna get pretty salty once the AMERO rolls out in 2017.

How's that working out for you? Ahahahahahahahaha!

Badly. As I pointed out in the other thread. Does that somehow mean my country is not better off than the US by a huge margin, or undo the US being in decline, or prove your bad misunderstanding of basics economics? No. No. No.

Pretty much. Even DB is not as dumb as he's pretending to be here. It's harmless fun, though.

Our economy is doing pretty fine. In fact, we were forced to participate in the deal to help Greece and we have spend cca 2 287 000 000 € at that so far. If those damn Greeks will leave the Euro-zone now, every single Slovakian will pay ~420 € for that.
Still you are right, we are doomed for sure, because we don't have any navy at all.

We do have Germans, though.

Yes, as I pointed out in the other thread, you guys are going down like a crackwhore on payday at a naval shipyard. (fast)

No, you are not better off, you will drown before we do, and then we will drown - in that order.

Yes, we are in decline, but even after the economic tsunami drowns us all - we will still be the only superpower with naval supremacy. If you don't think that means anything, I suggest you review your history books.

I'm not misunderstanding basic economics. This isn't even about economics. Let's propose a scenario as I've laid it out already.

What do you suppose is going to happen after an economic meltdown that throws the EU into an economic depression? One that also knocks the U.S. on it's butt.

Do you think Russia and China will sit idly by and not take full advantage of the situation?

ps - please ban/strike all these flamebaiters posting off-topic in this thread.

Yes it is. This entire time we've been talking economics. You tried to claim that the navy power was somehow related to your valuta's spread. And now you're trying to move the goalposts and pretend we weren't talking economics. We were, and we are.

Who cares? Powers shift, old countries sink, new countries rise.

I think you'll care as soon as Russia decides their new economic wealth and power means they can start reclaiming lost territory...

It sounds like you are overestimating them a little. Do you really believe that they are capable to rebuild the Berlin Wall once again?

Not to mention that they can't expand to grab any more land without being butt fucked by everyone else. How did that whole Georgia invasion go again?

Navel Gazing

Can contemplate U.S. Navy as just more government spending, or glow on vaguely about infrastructure investment.

U.S. Defense Department allocations in 'The American Century' aided and abetted in the transfer of wealth from the have states to the have less states.

Interesting how some politicians pretend their state's tech industries were somehow immaculately conceived, spawned magically with out federal seed money.

Hillarious as incomes grow in states benefiting from basic infrastructure investment, a T-Party blossoms to 'starve the beast', just when a realistic revenue stream is favorable to pay down the principle.

Clueless 'cake eaters', or is there more agenda then self aggrandizement.

Maybe the 'debt' is less important then the politics.
The 'debt' is more important as a stick to beat down the opposition's programs of largess in a swing of 'fiscal activism'.
Orwellian forever war soaked up industrial surpluses.
The 'debt crisis' de jour threatens to eat more than school lunches.

Anyway, may be time for tax payers to demand value for their contributions, and one locus of agreed value is the U.S.Navy.

So in a holistic, interdisciplinary, ecumenical way, DammitBoy is talkin' economics. :salute:

Shocked -- shocked, that this comedic jab of tough love has not been sighted!
