There is something rotten in Fallout New Vegas

Chris Avellones only wrote one character in the main game and the DLC for New Vegas. I am kinda sick of the creator worship for him.
Really? I thought he was one of the writers for Fallout 2. Must have not remembered that right.

He was too. But he isn't the sole creative force of the series, not by a long shot.

Well, to be quite honest, he was the quickest thing to latch onto for my joke. Just as Todd "Tell me Sweet Little Lies" Howard has virtually zero control of Bethesda besides PR.

Todd Howard is actually lead designer or project director in both Bethesda Fallout games. The PR guy is Pete Hines.

Howard "was" the lead designer. Zenimax essentially runs the show now. Hodd Toward doesn't do much besides just working.

Ask yourselves the following questions:
  • What kind of doctor makes you use a "love tester" after you've just suffered a major trauma, undergone a brain surgery and are mostly undressed in less than sanitary conditions, even in a "post nuclear" setting?
    • Likely explanation: a psychopath.
  • What kind of writer names an innocent character as a reference to a murderer and a murderous character as a reference to an innocent kid from a television show, even in a "post nuclear" setting?
    • Likely explanation: a psychopath.
  • What kind of town (its decision makers) with potable water approves of a water tower in its cemetery or of a cemetery right by such a tower, even if it's not in use, which could potentially be repaired or taken down for scrap metal in the future, even in a "post nuclear" setting?
    • Likely explanation: psychopaths.
  • What kind of person asks another in the middle of the night, like a creep, to go in front of a dinosaur tower to get executed by another, based on a document that could be a planted fake, even in a "post nuclear" setting? And what kind of person in that tower would perform the execution without first examining the evidence in the same setting?
    • Likely explanation: psychopaths.
  • And so on.

Some might add that they have "weapons-grade autism" as well while at it.

Clearly, there is something rotten in Fallout: New Vegas regardless of other Fallout games. This is not an Obsidian versus Bethesda versus Black Isle kind of topic.

Enough said.

1. It's a Vigor Tester, not a lpve tester. Also all he is doing is making you walk around the room, simple exercises to see if you aren't deaf, paralized or blind.
2. A writter who felt like doing it. See names aren't morality, they are just names.
3. One that isn't using that water tower and instead gets it from a well down the road.
4. What kind of person would shoot someone from the dinosaur? A suicidal ex soldier who is convinced that person sold his wife into slavery and forced him to kill her. What person would help him? It's up to the player and there are consequences for making him kill an innocent.

And so on. Your questions are dumb, won't call you autistic, just an idiot.

Clearly, there is something rotten in Brycen's train of thought
So your answer to everything you've raised at this point is "psychopath"? Talk about complete degeneration of logical reasoning if your answer to why everything is wrong in NV is:

Something is clearly rotten here and it lies in Brycen's ability to nitpick, consider points raised by others, and think.

Enough said.

won't call you autistic, just an idiot.
It'd be an insult to autists to compare Brycen to them though I'd argue it'd be an insult to idiots to compare Brycen to them too.

EDIT: Enough said.

I always just hand waved the vigor tester as Doc Mitchell giving you a physical. Better then how some games give you a tutorial like you never played a video game before.

The franchise has fusion powered robots flying around, plasma rifles, and GODZILLA.

I am sure that a machine capable of scanning and showing your physical and mental attributes isn't out of the question.

Good thing it's only a Vigor Tester.

Probably a writer with a sense of humor. You can handle jokes, right?

Pretty sure Goodsprings does a good job at getting by without needing to scrap a defunct water tower.

What kind of person asks another in the middle of the night, like a creep, to go in front of a dinosaur tower to get executed by another, based on a document that could be a planted fake, even in a "post nuclear" setting? I will agree that there should be more convincing involved with bringing a character in front of Dinky, but it isn't remotely a game-changing issue like you make it out to be. No one's perfect. No one in Novac has any motive to frame Jeannie, not even Cliff Briscoe (who seems more content playing with his dinosaurs). For the last bit, Boone's a jarhead who suffers from PTSD. It's no surprise to anyone that he would act so impulsively without any sense of structural thinking.

I think Brycen has Alzheimer. HE keeps coming back after a while and saying the same thing over and over after those things were debunked each time by several people.

Well to be honest everyone already knows he is trolling. He just repeats the same thing because he doesn't want a real discussion.
Have a cookie Brycen :cookie:.
