All these games are from 10 years of Bethesda. Now tell me, why should I fool myself into thinking that a Fallout 4 from Bethesda will be any better for me this time?
I don't hate Bethesda. I just don't like their games.
You don't get it, they must show everyone how pissed they are and all the hate they have towards Bethesda.George32027 said:I seriously don't get the people who are in this thread just to say that they don't care about Fallout 4.
Fair enough, we get your point, Bethesda can't do a proper Fallout sequel or any RPG at all, whatever.
I don't care about an Assassin's Creed sequel either (just to name a game), but it's not like I'm posting on the Assassin's Creed Sequel topic everyday, if you know what I mean.

We don't have any fucking information about the game, man, it isn't even officialy announced yet, so any statement about its quality is stupid. I will hate bethesda more than you if the game ends being the same as FO3, but for now, I must wait and see.The Dutch Ghost said:kyojinmaru said:You don't get it, they must show everyone how pissed they are and all the hate they have towards Bethesda.
Where as you must show your love and defend them?
Honestly, if Bethesda felt threatened they would defend themselves, no need for the fans to form the first line of defence.
Some of the reasons why we, or at least I am pissed off is that we always get a load of people who not just like Fallout 3 and Bethesda but fucking adore it, and then keep telling the older fans that they live in the past, that the values of the old games were good for their time but that Fallout needed to 'evolve' (to their tastes specifically), and that a shift from genuine Role Playing to 'Instant Gratification and average FPS' is a good thing.
Do remember that it were the old fans who kept the flame alive, before Bethesda bought the Fallout franchise and made Fallout 3 you most likely never gave a shit about the franchise to begin with.

Aren't you the guy who jumped at a possible use of IDtech and its inadequacy of delivering open worlds? Which, I have to add, is quite hilarious as the engine in general doesn't say much about the possibilities of open worlds, and IDtech has already been shown to have been put to good use in an open world.kyojinmaru said:We don't have any fucking information about the game, man, it isn't even officialy announced yet, so any statement about its quality is stupid. Dude, com on, they have been sticking to their formula since pretty much Morrowind, and it is a very succesfull formula.kyojinmaru said:We don't have any fucking information about the game, man, it isn't even officialy announced yet, so any statement about its quality is stupid. I'm glad to see a bunch of pragmatists expressing their expectations. That's what those hoax threads are for, isn't it?kyojinmaru said:You don't get it, they must show everyone how pissed they are and all the hate they have towards Bethesda.

I completely agree. IMO this and the pursuit of the best high res graphics for full 3D cranks up the costs, and place limitation on content and development schedule. Making it very hard for smaller developers who want to focus on dialogues and more mature themes, not to be dismissed on the spot as "outdated".Feigenbaum said:Personally I think the limitations of full voice acting are going to keep RPGs from being as good as they were in the 90s for a long, long time.
Why, thank you! I'll update my journal.Atomkilla said:.. I've realised valcik's grammar is way beyond 27%.
