Things we learned from Fallout 4

Well to be honest I am not sure I am right or not, I was about to come editing my post to say that, since I actually never opened a vertibird open and checked how it works (I wish GECK would come out already). I did know that the train in FO3 Broken Steel was a hat so it's not far-fetched that it is an armor, then I remember that pic I posted (it's not even my pic) being posted somewhere with the guy saying that npc was just flying around making veritbird noises (the pic is from December so it might just have been some weird bug or glitch that Bethesda already fixed).

But then I got thinking and an armor wouldn't allow to target it in VATS unless they changed something...

I guess we will only be sure when the GECK comes out .

I think they were activators, like birds in Skyrim as you couldn't interact with them and all they could do was run through one animation.

I'm not sure about that though, considering you can blow up a Vertibird with a rocket/fat man/lots of bullets before it even drops off its Enclave passengers. I'd call being able to blow it up interactable. I could be wrong about that though. You're right about the one animation though. It flies in, lands, drops off the Enclave, and flies back off. Does it for every single Vertibird.

You can shoot birds with an bow and arrow in Skyrim ;)

Good to know you can romance Lucas the dependable armour merchant to see his special stash--and his uh, Verti-bird.

I was wondering how I was going to get around in Survival and now I know.

This is a Vertibird in FO4 (this was a bug, it wasn't wearing the armor):

This guy was just flying around and making the vertibird sound effects

This is actually pretty damn funny. I wonder if turrets have tiny people inside them.

13- somthing: No matter how talented the developers are, there will always be talentless idiots leading the good.

141 (I think): According to the upcoming Survival Overhaul, the longer you go without sleep, the more effective you are in combat.

This just in, latest learned item from FO4 with the new update! We have a whole plethora of brand new stupid to talk about!

Most stupid thing I've found so far:

142. By killing things, your adrenaline raises. Instead of being a temporary boost of stamina/strength, in this world, adrenaline is not only permanent but makes you stronger forever! So get out there and kill the same 3 enemies over and over to become a literal god!

(Important Note: Becoming God will only work if you completed the Cabot House quest by siding with Lorenzo Cabot and got the Jesus Juice from him. This will make you not only immortal but also make you immune to radiation and give you +50 DT, on top of the strength and damage boost adrenaline now gives you)

Jesus juice? Jesus...

Great stuff though. Now I'm looking for Moses Moccasins...

Or perhaps Abraham Apples. Maybe a bit of David Darts for addition.

Unfortunately, Moses Moccasins cannot be found in Fallout 4. In order to get those you'll have to play the classic Bethesda game, Fallout 3: Medieval Edition. Take the Thieves' Guild quest and just before the final Thieves' Guild quest you'll receive the Moccasins that let you jump extremely high and prevent you from taking fall damage. Unfortunately you can only use them for that single mission before they break and can never be used again. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Boots_of_Springheel_Jak_(Quest)

David Darts can be found all over in Fallout 3, they're ammunition to the most powerful gun in the game, the Dart Gun. That gun will cripple Deathclaw legs faster than David killed Goliath with his sling. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Dart_(Fallout_3)

Abraham Apples don't exist. However, if you're referring to the Forbidden Fruit, that exists as well in Fallout 3. One sniff of that thing and you're sent into a wacky psychedelic journey that does its' best to remind you you have no control over your characters' motivations. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mother_Punga

143 - German Sheperds are immortal and immune to radiation. But only after nuclear holocaust, thats a proven scientific fact.

145. And that purebred dog is the ONLY purebred dog in the entire game. Every single other dog is either mutated, mangy, or furless/skin and bones with lots of sores.
