I checked some things. And here are the results...

I think there are three ways to kill Mickey. And there are two possible outcomes depending on the weapon used.
it seems you are right.
1) grenade (frag)
you get some floating text in red overridden by Chosen One's floating text, which obviously shouldn't be there. Don't know what happens. Here is a screenshot:

2) Sharpened Spear (doesn't work with an ordinary spear)
Every time you use this, you successfully kill Mickey (shouldn't this depend on your throwing skill?). Also floating text in red is overriden by Chosen One's floating text, which obviously shouldn't be there. Screenshot:

3) Dynamite
Whole well disappears. If you haven't recruited Marcus, he starts shooting at you. If you did recruit him, nobody notices the missing well. No floating text here.
The problem is, that you seem to be able to skip to the second part of the conversation without giving him enough drinks and after doing that you'll never get to know who he is. Also, maybe the dialog should change, so that it would reflect if you still need to give him more drinks or not.

Well, heck, I know the dialog is messed up for Anthony Fassard. It is rough. However, it sounds as though you are missing something. Buying him drinks is only part of it. You still need to do something else in order to really figure out who he is and what he can do for you.
Couldn't reproduce this one. It seems you can't actually get to the 2nd part of the conversation without giving him enough drinks.

-There doesn't seem to be a way to reveal the location of Toxic Caves to Sajag (or maybe there was some mistake in the walkthrough and you should talk to someone else, not to Sajag (the barman at "Golden Gecko")) in exchange for the key to the caves.
This is not a mistake in the guide, I wrote the second part of that section, so we are two who have done it. It may be incomplete though, like skill check or something that have to happen first...
I'll look at it when I have more time.

Sajag is the right one to talk to. You can't be a good guy. And I think you only get one chance to accept or decline it. This is tied in with taking part in Sajag's "hunting expedition".
Tested this one too with karma equal -600.
Here is what I did:
1) Talked to Ardin Buckner about her fiancé and got the location of Toxic caves;
2) Talked to Slim in the trapper town about the rat problem, tried to get the key from him;
3) Tried buying drinks for everyone in the bar, tried buying drinks for myself. Finally tried every possible Sajag's dialog option and never got a chance to talk about the hunting expedition.

Did anyone actually ever get this quest with megamod?

Don't you trust me? ;)

There is actually two slightly different ways to get his "hunting expedition" quest.
First of all you need to buy a beer from him and then ask for information.
Second, you need to have gotten the "find Smiley" quest but not completed it, for Sajag to help you.
When you are on your quest to become a hunter, you can tell him you are a hunter and ask for someone to teach you gecko skinning. Or if you are not a hunter, you can ask him for the key to the rat tunnels, but you need to know about the key first from farmer Sam.

Ok, I trust you :)
Anyway, why from farmer Sam, when Slim tells about the key too?

Because Sam tells you that Slim and Sajag both have a key. If you only talk to Slim, you won't know that Sajag have one too, and can't ask him for it.

New graphics for the switch, which opens gates in the Temple of Trials.

i got sajags quest but chose to save smiley instead.. i think i did it like this..

got quest from ardin for smily, helped sams farm, once i have know abouts for poison, i try to get key from slim, he wants me to go save smily first.. thats when you confront sajag, buy round of drinks for bar and he will offer you the hunting expdetion, but i turned him down and lost my chance

also i dont really think raised plate in temple needs to change? it would make your rightclick/view (binoculars) obsolete, with quick inspection its no problem to tell it apart from others :P

question : both exits on primitive tribe map wooded area supposed to lead to the world map?

No, it's a bug.

I couldn't fix the exit grid for some reason. Once you have entered the Primitive Tribe, exit it. Then, from the worldmap, enter the location again. Instead of clicking in the triangle where it says Wooded area, press '2'. This will take you to the second map (the actual tribe area). I will remove the money placed on the skeleton.
List of the other known bugs.

thnx man

Primitive Tribe always sets me off. I added those (green) exit grids, some time ago, while having MM on. So.. thought this might be the place to put it. If not - ignore it.

Here's the ReadMe, which is included:

The What...
Primitive Tribe .map file. I added green exit grids linking the Tribe and Woodland. Also, balanced out the number of items on the map.

The How...
Simply copy, paste and overwrite the file into ...\Fallout2\data\Maps

The Watchout...
1. Only for MegaMod.
2. The change will work only if you HAVE NOT been on the Primitive Tribe map before applying this file.

Nirran you're custom book mod does not work. could you try it a few more times on diffrent machines?

i am totaly embarrassed,my custom book mod was missing the pid files for the items,i have fixed it,i am really sorry i didn't see this earlier

to clarify, all merchants have had the books they regularly sell removed,my books have been added instead(totaly random) the books they have placed into inventory wont be changed, also the books placed on maps and in inventory wont be changed either, the books named "something something manual" are my books,to use them, equip it then target your dude and use it that way, thats the only way to trigger the script

The Abbey gives the location of Carson... talking with a character in Carson gives the location of the reactor.

I found why Hakunin sometimes don't take you as apprentice - it's because you stole the items from his chest! However, he only checks for your karma. Your karma should be 15.

This has been bugging me so much! I remember spending before more than two hours experimenting and creating another character(s), just because I wanted to make my player a shaman.

@ Blackened,

Those are good things to know, and to add to the guide! :) Your 2 hours of time will not go wasted, it will save others that time you have spent. No good deed goes unpunished! You will get credit, of course.
