My mother comes from a Jewish family, but she converted to Christianity (so I’m technically ein kultureller Jude), and thankfully the Jewish parts of my family are pretty open and accepting of all people. The Catholic parts tho, specifically my parents? Oh ho HO fuggedaboutit.

Non-Orthodox jews are usually the most conscious of the Abrahamic Religions.

The one's that aren't Zionists or pretend spiritual fucks like the Israelis.

That's why the piss off socialists and Muslims so much. They can't understand why they have so much money and enjoy life so much. waaawaaawaaa booohooohooo.

Not saying that Judeism is great or anything. It's still an inbred cult with stupidity. Cutting off dickskin and shit. Retarded.

You can't really be mad at someone for being stupid because that's just how the universe works.

You can however, be prepared for unforeseen consequences.

Wait, is atheism only valid if it's an attempt at some sort of mad-at-my-parents rebellion? Cus, neither of my parents are very religious, does this mean I *have to* be religious now, or I'm some kind of hack!?
D:
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who died on the cross, then ascended to His Heavenly Father, what religion do I pick then???

@zegh8578 my blend of paganism and Taoism has been decent for me so far. It’s less about rebelling and more doing what I feel is right in relation to my place in this universe.

If anyone tells you what you believe is wrong, they’re the asshole.

I'm atheist, and probably as hardline as it gets, but - you know... it truly and really is not some stunt of provocation to piss fence-sitting agnostics off. I've never been one to lecture people about atheism, and I dislike when people have like atheism seminars for all the atheists to get together and chestbump over atheism
I just don't believe in a god or a "force". I could go on and on about "the awesomeness of the universe" but you know all the verses by now.

I'm really, truly not trying to piss anybody off, I don't get this "atheists are just trying to be edgy"-mentality some people have, despite that some atheists can indeed be obnoxious (which, by the way, I'll take obnoxious over holy-wars and terrorism any day)

Taoism and Buddhism and such, these are just... "know yourself"-kind of faiths, so... one really have to make a big stretch to find those angersome in any way, I have litterally zero issues with Taoism :D

What you believe is wrong and makes no sense. There, I'm an asshole. But you're still wrong.

Man, what atheists seem to misunderstand is that the gods thing is secondary. The main focus is the Taoism, and the balance both within humanity and the universe at large. For all evil, there is good. Vice versa.

Why do you people seem to single out the “god problem” and act like that’s always the core, defining purpose of the belief?

I'm just pulling your chain, haven't read a single thing posted.

That being said, I do abhor religion.

Anything involving "the universe" is pretentious bullshit and needs to be fixed by GULAG.

Because it's reactionary. Do you believe in god? Yes. Do you believe MY god? No. Execute him! If people who believe in gods are so hellbent on their god(s) then the opposition to those belief structures will criticize that naturally.

Your beliefs are likely not predefined by books and guidelines or lack thereof as much as they are your own perceptions of morality and how far your understandings and interpretations of knowledge goes.

I've generally been far more concerned with what is going on right here and right now. When I die and something unexpected happens, I will deal with it then.

What is your place in this universe?
I am only a chess piece in a larger game, as we all are. Insignificant and expendable. However, that doesn’t mean life isn’t important; one’s perception of what is important alters the cosmic “game” from person to person. We are insignificant, but important to those who value us; therefore, we have value. One man’s trash is another’s treasure.

I'm not talking about gods, I was talking about our place in the universe :lmao:

But of course the Sun! It returned to us for our crops to grow! Praise the sun!
