i'd fuck arcade gannon wait nvm that's not an unpopular opinion
latest

I always found his name weird. I just imagine Ganon from the Zelda series playing an arcade machine and that's weird.

Also, is this an issue for everyone else as often as it is for me? Happens in Chrome, FireFox and Opera. With and without vpn too.
That happens because wikia sucks with their image links, not because of browser problems.

Basically, wikia adds a bunch of crap after the image source's url (in this case "/revision/latest?cb=20150525231954"). So when you want to post a wikia image, you should remove that crap from the url, so your picture displays properly:

It seems that they also changed what the crap does, it now also resizes the image... great...
Wikia is getting even worse than they used to be, and I thought that was impossible.

If I had to work on a show/game for either Halo or Destiny I would pick Destiny.

For all of their parallels (and the latter franchises problems), Halo seems much more limiting and honestly not as interesting either visually or story wise. There's much more opportunity for variety, either in writing, locations or visual/prop designs with Destiny. You have more alien cultures to work with and the implementation of space travel is smaller in scope, but still manages to be more appealing to me.

I've played Halo and Destiny, both the first games (and Halo was back when it was released), and I remember a bunch of stuff from Halo but I can barely remember fuckall about Destiny. Destiny doesn't have any interesting art design to make anything memorable. It's like that Jim Sterling clip where he comments on a japanese Batman thingie that is just details upon details upon details. There's so much hyper-realism detail that nothing sticks in your memory.

The only thing I remember is that you have some little box drone thingie flying around with you. I don't remember any of the worlds you visit, any of the characters, any of the factions, any of the vehicles, any of the weapons. It's all just a blur.

I'd rather work on something memorable than something forgettable.

Okay here goes:
  • I really loved Watch_Dogs 1 and thought Watch_Dogs 2 was a garbage, unfinished, badly written game.
  • Cory in the House DS is somewhat entertaining, it's not so bad
  • Halo 2 was really fun and not bad at all
  • COD BO2's strike force missions were a highlight of the game
  • Despite some of its flaws, New Vegas is an amazing game (if the developers had more time + better hardware than the game would of been perfect)
  • Batman Arkham Knight was much easier than Arkham City but had a more interesting story
  • Games where there is a continuous state that you can come back to (minecraft, rust, terraia) are the most fun to play with friends
  • Getting killed in less than 1 second in shooter games (CS:GO, Valorant, Rust) is not fun
  • Battles of attrition in shooter games are the most fun
  • Fortnite is an actually good game at its core (but its corporate managers and the direction it is taking because of them is bad)
  • Losing all of your stuff when dying in multiplayer continuous games is really not fun at all
Political-wise:
  • There is a certain amount of progressim and "wokeness" that is okay and acceptable, but too much is not good.
  • The amount of outward support for LGBTQ may be too much
  • Capitalism is inherently bad
  • Diversity in media is good, but portraying cultures/ethnicities in a negative light is much worse. And It should be done naturally, and not forced with token characters. Spend the time to develop a minority character and do it right if you are going to have them.
  • The social state of the world is terrible, people don't help their neighbors and pretty much never contribute to the "common good"
  • You should question everything, but don't go looking for maliciousness where it is not present.
  • Corporations are too big and greedy and need to go.

I tried to make these actually "unpopular" and not just "my opinions".
