Did anyone see Devil? I was kind of curious about that but I looked at the listings and it was one 80 minutes long. That seems like a bad sign. Also, I don't think I can muster the optimism necessary to give an M. Night Shamalama project a fair chance anymore.

I was thinking about seeing that, but after comparing pictures of it next to pictures of the original, I really hate how they changed the aesthetic. The costumes in the original were covered with lots and lots of glowing lines that looked a bit like circuitry, but in the new one the reduced it way down to a very few thick glowing lines. The new characters look like they're wearing really expensive motorcycle jackets. I don't like it.

Seconded. Tron the original is already an aesthetical masterpiece. By trying to redo it, the potential for fail is very high... And it looks like they failed.

They're not redoing the original. This is a sequel, not a remake.

I liked Tron, but I'm gonna watch the first one tonight to see how it holds up as a sequel.

I felt like the new Tron was going to be like Avatar, look great but fall really short on character and story. and I didn't like the first Tron when I saw it as a kid so that also turned me off.

I liked Tron a lot more than Avatar to be honest but I didn't like Avatar that much. I thought it looked great but I was done with it after about an hour, when I got used to the eye candy.

Tron had some much more enjoyable moments, even though it didn't look as good at times. I hear people complain about the plot but I thought it was quite decent as well.

I'd say the plot in Legacy is about on par with the plot in Tron.

I really hate the look and feel of this new Tron movie. Everything just screams "this is wrong". -.-

I adore the Daft Punk tracks though, they never fail to amaze me.

This accompanies the best title sequence I've seen in gaming. Great game for it's time, could have joined genre-smashing FPS pioneers like Deus Ex/SS2/Thief if not for some uninspired gameplay. I've been replaying it lately, really fun game and nails the whole settings in every aspect.

If the best thing that can be said about Tron Legacy is about it's music, well, that doesn't bode so well for the rest of the movie I'm guessing.

Was looking forward to getting all baked and watching this one in 3-D IMAX. Anyone see it in that format?

I saw Cowboys and Aliens with my sister in law. It was pretty good except for some of the other people in the theatre

Cowboys and Aliens is really peaking my interest (it helps that me and my friends have a massive love for cowboys), but one thing that annoyed me is that several months ago, before the film was even announced, me and my friend made an uber long flash animation called....COWBOYS AND ALIENS. God damn big-wig hollywood directors stealing from the real talented ones.
