Upcoming movies 2010

Well whether it's realistic or not, you can't deny that it was pretty good CGI which was why I brought it up in the first place.

Edit: And Eckhart's acting was much better than Jones', he presented Two-Face more realistically as a character.

we should just agree that the whole concept looks ridiculous.

but on the other side. Those are comic villains. In a setting with a guy fighting them with a rubber-suit (kinda ...) What can we really expect ?

I would not say that this Two-Face was much better then others. but it was not really worse either.

well yeah, but I really don't liek how the Dark Knight movies handle almost anything, in particular the visual aspect.
Edit:
They coudl have done a guy with a severe Burn on his face, maybe even showing him with half hsi face with bandages, I mean the movie aims at being realistic, at least that's the excuse they give for it being so dull, but that Two Face went WAAAAAAy too overboard, it is almost a movie killer.

well was there any Batmovie which did it for that matter ? As I said. They all suck. But the new ones suck less. At least the actors are better this time. But that is of course only opinion.

Two-Face looks ridiculous but he's still a good villain, he's also one of the few villains in Batman's rogues gallery who would be actually legally insane.

I liked how the Joker looked and how Scarecrow looked, I don't like the look of Batman or the Batmobile (although like Two-Face, the Batmobile will always suffer from looking ridiculous in live action).

Edit: The Scarecrow gets a little leeway though since the character looks different almost every time he's shown.

Wait, yeah The Joker looked cool, Scarecrow, was decent. I gotta correct myself.

The Bat Tumbler was another movie killer for me, Batman needs a fucking tank to approach criminals stealthy.

I liked the Burton Movies, I watched them as a kid but still, the Schumager movies are so bad that they are hillarious, but the Nolan Batman, is welll just dull, it doesn't feel liek Batman, it feels more like Swatman.

That's why I think Nolan should have done Black Mask, it's literally impossible to make him look ridiculous. He's just a guy in a black mask.

^Why hasn't he been in any live action films yet? He's one of the least ridiculous comic-to-live action villains you'll ever find.

In the Dark Knight series they would probably make it so that he is a Black Dude in a suit, not even wearing a mask. Thats duller, I mean, more realistic.
You can realize I don't like those movies that much.
I speacily hated Rahs Al Ghoul, he becomes just generic terrorist #10000 and the Lazarus Pits are replaced by some convoluted proxy system that doesn't make sense and is not even talked about later in the movie.

Hey, The Captain America movie had a Teaser for The Avengers, I liked the Captain America film a lot, but I tought the teaser looked boring. I hear Joss Whedon is the director? Do we have to expect Wasp to be the only competent character in that movie?

I have the feeling the real reason is that all of those villains have been already shown one way or another in the other movies.

Bane was in Batman & Robin.

Remember how many Batman movies have been already made. And frankly the Dark Knight saga is the FIRST Batman movies which do NOT suck hard - if they are great is another question but hands down the other ones are just shit.

Burton's movies were awesome. Schumacher fucked the last series up but the first two movies were very good, especially the first one.

Regarding Two-Face, I would have to agree with both Courier and Walpknut. The CGI was very well done but I did not buy his look. Something was off and now that Courier mentions it, it was probably the eye. It makes him look like a robot or one of the Captain Barbosa's cursed pirates.

By the way, I just watched Under the Red Hood and was VERY pleasantly surprised. I thought it was very awesome movie and I am not a big fan of animated superhero stuff at all. When I saw the "gritty" and overly serious trailer, I immediately wrote this off as someone trying too hard but I definitely highly recommend it now. I'd say that it's actually a lot more enjoyable than the praised-to-all-hell Mask of the Phantasm. [spoiler:7d8dce7b6f]Robin gets the living shit beaten out of him several times, including once by Batman so definitely worth watching.[/spoiler:7d8dce7b6f] Anyways, that movie had the Black Mask and he was hilarious.

I think Batman should be more like a bat. He should have sonar, sleep hanging upside down, and poop all over the floor of his cave.

I feel ill every time I see a television commercial for the new Conan the Barbarian movie. Remake = let's reduce the color palette to dark hues and add lots of screaming.

It looks absolutely horrible. I was actually somewhat excited about a big budget remake of Conan but the trailer is not appealing in any way whatsoever and the main guy looks like he should be in Mortal Kombat instead.
I can't say I was looking forward to it, but the old Arnold Conan is a movie I kind of love. Sure, it's cheesy, but it has some great moments. It's just damn fun. And Arnold's Conan is very contemplative for a barbarian. Most of the time he doesn't say anything. Every time I see this new Conan he's yelling "THIS IS SPARTA!" or something essentially like it.

You guys do realize that Machete and Hobo With A Shotgun are both equally tribute and parody, right?
Well of course, that's why they are very fun movies.

I also didn't really buy Two-Face's look either, but this IS Batman, I mean they can't do reasonable things without ruining the setting (well, I tought Batman using prototype military gear instead of pulling wondrous inventions out of his ass was a massive improvement). I liked Nolan's versions the best, personally, always found Burton went a bit too far into camp (3 foot long pistol downing the Batplane anyone?).

I've always despised shumaker (or however you spell his fucking name) not for ruining batman, but for ruining two face. The first and only time I watched batman forver I groaned whenever Dent was onscreen. My favorite comic book character was tainted. I appreciate the Dark Knight for actually making Harvey a character instead of Jim Carry's lackie.

Mr. Freeze is actually a really good villain to because of his origin story but I doubt he'll ever be on the big screen again after Schwarzenegger's catastrophe.

Chill out, man. I thought it was a cool performance.

Good thing I didn't have any interest in it. Catwoman looks liek she came otu of a carnival or she bought a cheap mask. I mean no even googles and helmet?

Special Guest, Agent Salt.

And musics of the old Conan movie were epic! (in any sense)
