Hey buddy! Yeah, I finally joined up. Been meaning to for a while now. Guess I'm learning how to be sociable again
I would loved to have seen the BOMB001 plotline explored. They also missed out the opportunity for BOMB002, crashing in the grand canyon. Would have been some good salvage there.

And yeah, BOMB would have been a pretty interesting thing. Aren't they doing something similar to it in The Frontier mod for New Vegas?

I haven't heard much from the Frontier guys. Their last update I saw was only three months ago, so, that could be good news. One I've been watching is Fallout 4 New Vegas, since a guy I know may be doing some voice work for it. So much untapped potential in both settings... we shall see

The Frontier has ARCHIMEDES 2 turned into an orbital space station instead of a satellite armed with a laser which I think in this case would be more fitting.
I have my doubts that Fallout 4 New Vegas will ever get finished.

man, I was watching the intro video for this project and I COULD NOT belive that Doctor Mitchell voice was done by another person.

I don't think it will either, which is sad for the people who want it, but personally I really don't like the FO4 engine.
I would have seriously preferred Van Buren, obviously. It seems like it would have been better than what we got with Fallout 3. Though, from what I know of the plotline of Van Buren, I did not find it that interesting or great. The other details seemed cool. Maybe, I should read some more of the design documents that we got from it? My knowledge of what was intended to be in the game may be shallow.
I should look into getting that Van Buren demo working again, it kept crashing on me but I want to try it out.
EDIT: I watched the first overview video for Van Buren by RetconRaider. Yeah, I'd love to have seen this game actually get made, way more than I thought I would.

If they spend half as much time doing skins then maybe NV in Fo4 will actually get somewhere. Other modders will come in to fixate on every last texture for years to come, as they always do, if it can actually be played. Function first, form second in other words. That would make it easier to recruit and get people actually plugging away to make it happen.
