What is your weather like?

Down here in Buenos Aires it is sunny and hot, but not too hot. So I'm enjoying an awesome weather I must say.

It was warm and sunny today, with great weather for the Boxing Day Sydney to Hobart yacht race. The ocean temp is around 21.

Maybe the 'Please do not steal' should have been larger, since one of these signs appears to have gone missing since yesterday.

So, you all remember how my weather was unusually snowy and I made that awesome 8' snow monster that I posted a picture of?

http://www.komonews.com/

Watch the video there on the home page.

I was almost conscripted for sand bag duty as my work tries a futile attempt to hold back the overwhelming onslaught of water from destroying our central offices for telephone/TV/Internet. I got out of it because I had too much frackin' stuff to do.

After the record snow fall event we are now experiencing a record rain fall event / record flooding event. Several feet of snow have melted and 10 to 20CM of rain has fallen in the past day turning cities and town into lakes. Two that I know of are completely under water and still have 24 hours before the rivers crest.

For the first time I know of, we had to use our reverse 911 (American emergency #) feature to dial every home in the area and tell them to get to higher grounds. I've also never experienced a real emergency broadcast over radio/TV since I've been alive.

Crazy stuff. I live on a hill and my garage has a little creek running through it as I type this... I'm going to go pan for gold in my garage or fish... or something.

Cold and wet tonight despite warm temperatures all day. Texas weather is bipolar.

Sorry to hear about these floods. There is flooding in part of my country as well, but far from here.

It's about 10 degrees cooler here today than yesterday, but the ocean temp is still nice at 22. The temperature change isn't ever too extreme where I live due to the ocean, but on the outskirts of Sydney, which is a pretty large city, it can be extremely hot in the day, then cold within hours at night.

Flooding? Its summer there!

About -35 with windchill and retarded dryness that turns all your skin, regardless if its exposed or not, into sandpaper.

The rainy season is during summer in Nothern Australia.

What would I know, I was there during the winter... Felt like summer... Especially in Cairns... If you get a chance hop over to Fitzroy island... Fabulous memories there.

been driving my motorcycle for the past week and a half at -3°c to -15°c. lets just say that i come close to frostbite on my hands on a nearly daily basis (fucking windchill) and am probably risking my life with the icy roads...

Hello

Just thought I'd give a little update. Today is officially the coldest day I've ever experienced. It's weird to think about it.

-26°c? fuck that, i'd lock myself up and stay in until i run out of food.

luckily here, it's back to -1°c to 5°c

Wisconsin.

It was -30F at sunrise this morning. Not windchill, air temp.

It's about 4F now, but it's going down to mid teens below zero again tonight. The funny thing is I'm so used to it it doesn't bother me. :?

The general trend here has been colder than average for about two years, both summer and winter.

i experienced that on a sunday during my christmas vacation in milwaukee. after a few hours i just thought "meh" and that's from a dude who's been out of wisconsin for over a decade.

cold, it's overrated.

Boring weather ! It is january the 19th but we do not have a real winter. It is a warm winter. We need more minus degrees. Winter shall be !

Here in Quebec, Canada, we have -30 Celsius, which is a regular weather for our winter.
We have cold, harsh winters and I love it.

It's better than last year. The average temperature was at -12 or -15 and there was barely enough snow to cover the ground.

Here in Gent, Belgium it's around 4-8°C and it rains now and then.

I long for the Summer... :(
