What is your weather like?

Right now it's actually quite nice in London, and it's only cold in the mornings. We rarely have the temperature go below 0 degrees Celsius.

It's been snowing on and off for the entire week in Beaverton, Oregon. Today has been the worst so far, with about a foot of nonstop snow for the last 12 hours.

While here there has not been much in the ways of snow we have been having some freezing cold temperatures. Today the high was 1 Fahrenheit with a low of -13 Fahrenheit.

It's been this way for about a week and a half now.

It's cold in texas, but of course where I live there's no fun snow to play with, so basically we get the cold ass weather but none of the fun that weather should bring. :(

Yeah, I got to shovel 14 inches of fun off my driveway yesterday.
And it's still snowing now.

I've been watching the news seeing the snow down there! We just got a foot over night as well. I was just woken to the sound of dripping water. It is 1 C here so... I guess enough for snow to melt although I call that bull shit.

Are you getting the real dry snow? Or the wet stuff? Ours is dry and unpackable. Despite that, compacting into trash cans seems to work. Then that snow turns into ice and before you know it... you have a snow man 5 feet wide by 8 feet tall! My roomie and I are making that snowman into Kodos or Kang from the Simpsons. I'll post pictures once we are finished (hopefully that's today before the Seahawks game).

Here it is, the snowman that my buddy and I worked on the past few days.

Only thing thats missing is the drool.

For some reason, that looks like a screenshot.
I think it looks awesome. Verily. :ok:

Over here in Belgium, the weather is actually pretty good. It's cold, but not as cold as it should be. And it's not raining or snowing or anything like that.
Perfect weather for a walk.

Yeah its finally switched over to good ol Washingtonian rain but they say snow on Christmas. I'm 25, I've never seen a white Christmas before so I'm stoked.

My snow monster was featured on the local news in Seattle as well!

I live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.

Lately its been quite cold for us, its normally very moderate here. Right now we're just above freezing at 1 degree celcius (33.8 fahrenheit). Snow in high traffic areas is melting quite a bit, currently nothing coming down. Earlier today it was a mix of snow and rain. Ah well atleast its snowing on the mountain runs and thats all that matters.

Merry Christmas one and all, hopefully you're having a grand time of year.

Edit: Maphusio that snowman kicks ass!

Ears would be difficult too. Nice!

I've never seen snow falling.

It was clear and warm today.

Many people here in Australia seem to think the ocean is too cool for swimming at less than 20°C. They'd get used to it in five minutes with no trouble. I assume that kind of temperature is fine for most of you Europeans here.

Since Amazon is a rainforest, we have two seasons here in Belém, Pará: The season with rain, and the other season with MORE rain. The first season we call Summer and the second season is called "Winter", as it is kinda cold most of the time. Right now, Winter is beginning. It will be over in May or June. I love Winter, it's the best time all-around to get outta home and do something. Less blistening heat.

Heat levels: The biggest you're ever going to find outside hell. They call this place "Green Hell" for a reason. Normal, sunny days usually got to 36ºC and above until around 42ºC. Cold, rainy days usually get at least 20ºC minimum, maybe even 18ºC in the middle of winter. The reason we aren't all dead yet is that the air is super-humid, so we almost breath water here.

Err, ocean here never gets that warm. It's usually at 10C or so in the pacific NW of the USA, and that's warm to folks further up north. If there is one thing to take away from this is that humans will adapt to where ever they are.

When I was in Sydney, during your winter it was shatteringly hot! Especially when I went to the outback. I'll never forget the weather on this little island off the NE coast there. It was like the set of Lost with this amazing breeze to keep you cool.

At any rate, its time for me to go to the parents house now. Ausi Ausi Ausi oy oy oy!
