I'm talking about human essentials, we have enough money and houses to end homelessness, world hunger (let alone our own problems in the states with 40 million people food insecure), and lack of healthcare many times over. The Capitalist class only serves our needs when we give them money. No man in the modern world should starve, we produce way too much food and then waste that food when it could go to starving people, but it's not economically viable. Every human deserves food, water, healthcare, and education, and Capitalism won't get us there.

People being wasteful doesn't mean there is plenty for all, it is a fallacy. A man that works 40 hours a week has more money to spend OR WASTE than someone who works 10. How often I have seen people waste their money on fucking RIMS.

There is NEVER enough as humans always demand MOAR. It is in our natures. Seattles homeless problem exists because they speak of socialism yet have nowhere near enough money to fix it. The problem lies in the fact that free shit only works when there are limits placed. Otherwise, for every homeless you give free shit to, two or three more show up. Look at the euros as a very good example. They talk a good game but once migrants started to flood in and overwhelm their social systems, they straight pulled a 180 degrees.

India and China have over a BILLION people alone. The U.S. has at a conservative estimate, 290 million people. We are the 3rd most populous nation on the planet. There is a reason why Bernie always brings up the Nords, cause they have a TINY population. Not only that, but things like free education in Europe come with serious caveats. I brought them up WAY back so you can google the difference between colleges in the U.S. and Europe.

It's funny how such conversations always end up with limits when it comes to "free shit" for the poor. However there is almost no discussion (generally speaking) about where the limit is to wealth. Like at which point is enough simply enough? 1 Billion in wealth? or 10? Or 100? Or if one person owns as much like the rest of the world?

I find it tiresome that it it often ends up with "who's going to pay for it!". Like I said, someone at some point always used that as argument against social improvements and wealth distribution. Everything seems impossible till someone does it.
 
There shouldn't be a limit on wealth. There should be a limit on poverty.

Poverty must be measured by access to upward mobility and not local currency value.

The problem is not production or money, it's waste and overconsumption. In the US alone, 30-40% of all food produced is thrown away, by either retailers or consumers (mostly by retailers), 40 million is 10% of 400 million, we absolutely have enough food to feed our food insecure communities.

We have about 1.5 million vacant homes and 567,715 homeless people.

Medicare 4 All saves us money over our current private system according to Yale.

And we could've funded free college with our latest military budget increase.

We absolutely have enough to provide everyone the bare essentials in society.
 
You're not suppose to do that. You're suppose to take out a loan because interest rates are incredibly low. People are not educated enough to operate the system, because they were educated by communists. Communists were invented by your competition to fuck up people who aren't considered too big to fail. You failed at that so now you suffer without the knowledge to leverage the actual value you have.

Low interest rates are free money. However since no one thinks more than 10 years ahead it doesn't matter. That's why boomers have all the money.

Same with housing. Those houses often need lots of work. They need to be made safe, which costs money.

UHC in Cali alone was projected to consume the ENTIRE state budget for a year. This is not including the across the board tax hike and playing with federal funding laws. Even Bernie Sanders couldn't defend himself when Bill Mahr pushed him on UHC and admitted taxes on the rich and speculation wasn't enough.

The Military

You do know why we are top dog right? Why the dollar is the WORLDS reserve currency. Why people cannot really fuck with us, sanction us, etc? It is because of our military. We can hit our enemies at any point on the globe if necessary. We have a HUGE advantage in tech like stealth. That costs money. Sure we can hide our heads in the sand like the euros and depend on another country for defense. Do you really trust China or Russia to run the world?

If Russia or China ran the world, they would logically want payback on the U.S. As a U.S. citizen fuck that. Are you in the U.S Reset?

There is more than enough waste in society currently. Those houses are all fine. They sit there as the people who were evicted are paying the mortage on their home. However they didn't consider this when they were sold the home. Subprime mortgages. The amount of Subprime mortgages sank the economy. People are too fucked for this system. So fuck it, give them a tent huh?

It's not like we can perhaps make a giant big fuckin thing in the middle of the country which will make jobs and make property value go up. It's like TRUMP would somehow be smart enough for a big fuckin' thing, but I guess not. No big fuckin' Thing.

Apologies if you were. Many homes in Detroit you speak of are rundown. If you are speaking of lavish homes, why should a bum get a free 300k home when others had to buy a much less expensive home while dealing with things like a mortgage? Lastly, many homeless are not exactly in their right state of mind. Who is to say they won't just wreck the homes they have been given? None of them can pay property taxes. Should they just be exempt?

You spoke of homes people getting kicked out of, homes they couldn't afford but tried to buy anyways.

When I mentioned upward mobility, I meant that people can figure out ways to do better and their ability to succeed isn't tied to the state like in Communism.

People should have the ability to move up, I never disagreed with that. I said a while back many times that we should abolish degree requirements for good paying jobs that only require on the job training.

Oh and nice touch on the 'get fucked' part. Good to know I am dealing with someone on the level of the CHOP protestor LOL. I don't agree people should get all sorts of free shit and that is the response.

Afford has nothing to do with a loan. The FED raised interests rates too fucking fast on risky securities and investments. Mass bankruptcy. No economic activity, so now people cannot climb out of the hole. Cannot retrain to new jobs. Not enough new industries and government subsidies. Uneducated population.

We've been post-capitalist for a little while now with everything on life-support. We gained a little traction and guess what... the corona virus. People loose all their businesses and homes and the banks come in and buy it all up, crushing the competition. It's standard operating procedure from the corporate communist cartel of pigs.

Yea, maybe that is the problem with folks who trust someone else to do the thinking for them. Pretty much what I have been saying to folks who say fuck the system while saying yay to big government. When someone reaches adulthood, they shouldn't be coddled anymore.

And yeah, I am the leading advocate for education reform. I spoke to Crni at length how schools should teach money management, speaking/people skills, more emphasis on schooling that teaches someone how to get a job. You would know this had you read my past posts.

You're absolutely right! I have found that the most educated people trust validated specialized experts when making complex financial decisions.

 
These same people still do their damned homework. You don't actually believe someone like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet go into deals blindly right? They go through every part of a document in and out.
