Will Fallout the game become Fallout the reality?

It's so funny watching Yanks huffing and puffing about beating the richest continent on the planet mostly allied in a socio-political and economical union populated by close to one billion people and some of the most advanced countries in the world when they couldn't even.....remember this Yanks????

Or should i say: Rema mbah dis? :x

yeah, its' kinda sad in how our investments are the sort of things that we'd really regret about war. (but I wasn't even speaking of nuclear ordinance, but just regular bombs. B2's are pr. much invulnerable (so long as it isn't raining).

also, cynicism is not the bad thing? we figured out that global thermonuclear war was bad long before mccarthy wrote the road.

There's little no way of handling missiles launched out of a ssbn or against missiles in general. ABM systems aren't very reliable.

How a discussion on "will the world end and turn into a floating piece of crap in the space" turns into a "my military is much more likely to turn your continent in a gigant piece of crap than yours!".

Just proves how humans can be idiots when they want, and that a Fallout future isn't unlikely as we like to think.

How about Israel and Iran. There's been a lot of we gonna nuke you -talks between these two.
I think this is a powderkeg to something bigger. If they blow up each other who knows what will happen?
Oil price would go insane and that could spark competition between US/China/Russia.

Rare materials is other thing. Fallout style war over resources is not impossible.

And what do you think about a conventional war? Do you consider it good? :?

Stealth-technology is not invulnerable. Technological advancements are mde every day.
For example, the german F124 Sachsen class frigates are equipped with a radar that is said to be capable of detecting stealth-aircraft.

well a war is pretty unlikely anyway as Germany would simply claim their Rheinmetall tank-guns back from the US tanks. warranty is brocken in case of war!

People actually forget how much of foreign technology actually is inside the US military.

I thought they only attacked Canada

Oh dear, a war between the real United States and the real PRC. That wouldn't turn out good for either side, even without a nuclear exchange.

But look on the bright side, Bharat would be the sole remaining world power!

I think name calling and baiting another poster are against the rules. Plus, it's just not nice.

There's a certain amount of mix in guns and stuff. We use belgian machineguns, thinking of switching to another belgian machinegun, Seals apparently use swiss pistols, we use swedish rocket launchers, and that's about all the foreign pew I can think of and generalize off the top of my head.

No, there's nothing in there on that. Rule #9 does contain this, however:

Don't be an idiot.

Therefore, ban DammitBoy plz.
