For the animations you can do something like this.

If the NPC is angry, you put one face, if happy another. And an extra frame with the eyes closed. At least this way it will seem more alive than just a picture, without the need of all the animation.

Okay, here it is Metzger. Don't use the another gif I made before, I put more effort on this one.
For the ghoul, wait 2 hours and you will have it.. i'm going to see Jericho on TV right now :wink:

PS: They aren't converted to the FO's palette, i will do it when I'm doing the ghoul and I will post them again.

I've uploaded a rar file to my site HERE.

Tell me once you've downloaded it, so I can remove it from the server.

About the ghoul, do you have the image in a better quality? If you have send it to me or post it here. If not I will use the one thats already here.
 
No sry just the brown one is in better, please use the yelllow eye to animate!

Edit: Some request to metzger can you make the png files to 256 gif with transarent colour and this white stuff on the furehead sucks ingame. I had always problems to make metzgerr ingame that why he looks diffrent to dumar or klint.

Because right know im working on a mod who bring an ozher look to the MK II Armors my black power armor is meaby today ready i will make then a nre thread!

I like the evil one very much! no need to change it anymore imho.

The neutral faces have to much smile already. When I think of Metzer I don't see a happy faced character when he is in a normal mood.

the happy face is way to happy imho. But I think the neutral face could be used for the happy face.

Just posting my thaughts.
 
Just a random thought, disregard at your leisure: Maybe thinning his lips and open eyes just a little would take the vaguely 'perky' look out of his face. Make him look colder and more intense, with a grim smile at the best of times. I'm not pretending to be an artist though.

My two cents:
I agree with some of what you said here. His neutral and angry faces definitely work. I don't see Metzger having a regular happy face.
But I do see him having a type of happy face, though. The kind he might have just before killing somebody for fun... or when somebody has done something horrible that he approves of. A face with a little malice to it or an evil grin.

I kinda like that tatoo, the eye kinda represent the fact he is the "Slave Oveseer" or something like that, but if you wanted changed I can do it, just tell me what you want. Maybe a tatoo that simple says "SLAVER" or something like that?
 
Yes, I could see Metzger with a smile like that! (Of course, others might disagree, but that's just my view of the character.)

And as for the tattoo, I kinda like it. But, if you are gonna change it, then I still think a symbol of sorts is better than just the word slaver.

Edit: So, I guess when it comes to Metzger, the neutral face could be 'happy', the angry face could be 'neutral', and the sadistic face could be his 'angry-and-about-to-kick-your-ass' face.
Can you make a face with that sinister smile?
 
I completly agree with MIB88. It just what I had in mind as well.
As for the tatoo, I somewhat reminds me of the NWN eye logo...

Isn't there something mentioned in fallout 2 on how it should look?

If anyone else find a cool logo that somehow symbolize a Slaver, post it.
 
I did some quick searches on the net for images that someone might be able to use to create heads from. Just raw stuff that would need work to use, but that at least might offer a base to start from.
