Your Favorite Companions

Though FNV did a great job at creating a very vast if somewhat odd assortment of followers, I'd have to say that Veronica was probably the best of the bunch. Not so much due to her skills, but the fact that she seemed to be the most fleshed out of the bunch in terms of dialogue outside of normal responses...now Arcade and Raul also were decent too, but it felt as though they were more railroaded.

Verocina makes jokes!
That goes a long way. Arcade, to me, was the least interesting, and I found him a bit annoying each time he would go "okaaaay?" when sneaking. Cus yeah, we're sneaking because I'm just totally random that way, no rhyme or reason, that's how I roll! >:I

Who you are comes from the choices you make when life gets tough.
Rose of Sharon Cassidy really matched the Spaghetti Western element New Vegas had, and I really liked her backstory and origins; I'd have to go with her. Being a veteran caravaner in her late thirties, she'd definitely have a lot of experience and confidence in dealing with a lot of hairy situations in the Mojave. And despite the fact that she talked and swore like a postwar Juliette Lewis, I've always considered her to have a slight motherly feel about her (assuming your Courier character is in their early twenties, if not late teens).

I have three favorites. For mods, I love Willow, as she makes the wasteland seem more lively. For vanilla, it is a tie between Veronica (her quest and background are awesome) and Cass (she is just badarse).

I've come to like ED-E and ED-E alone as a companion.

He's just a robot, he can't judge you or abandon you based on your allegiances. He's always there to blast away your enemies and carry your excess loot.

He also has the benefit of knowing when to shut the hell up and enjoy the atmosphere rather than Goddamn talking all the time.

Craig Boone. He's quite useful, and its spotter perk makes him a quite nice companion. His history is great, and he do tons of critics. Saved my life more times that i can remember.

Then, i would choose Rose of Sharon Cassidy. John Cassidy's daughter, my friend. Charism, and a proffesional ass kicker.
