First time out of the vault

The question is real. I have the feeling that as soon as you like a series, no matter which, you are gona have to face people who will ruin it and torture it. Thief suffered, Hitman suffered, you all have in mind examples of games whose gameplay or experience was spoiled by "some stupid guys in the marketting department".
Absolution was a crime for me, who has played all hitman games since hitman 2.I didnt even consider trying the last Thief for obvious reasons. And now there is Fallout 4. Fallout 4 trailer focused on fights more than on interactions, the skill system may disappeared, and people fear a bastardization to make the game freindly for people who dont like to read or think.
Skyrimization of Fallout 4 isnt even what i fear, i fear something worse. I fear a future where people will see Fallout as a game where you kill stuff with guns and plasma rifles.
Iit is hard for me to see this as a way to make the game simple, because for me, the game needs you to learn how to play, but the difficulty curve isnt too steep.
It would be very hard to gather all people wh worked on old fallout games, to have the same atmosphere, the same mentality again. So i am wondering, should we hope fallout death, the same way people think its better to not have a Baldu'rsgate 3(because they feel it would be sacrilege).
