Make sure you play Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSX. The Gameboy ones suck in comparison and the PSP one is also not as good, and the translation is even worse than the PSX one, even though some people say it's better, but people who speak japanese say it's worse.

If you're into emulation, you can hack the playstation 1 game's disk image and add the extra things from the PSP version without changing the translation, so doing that would be my advice.

And you could also fix the "too little money" delay bug. I don't remember where to get the fixed code from anymore.

I'm biased because it's my first proper FF experience ever, but FF XII is worth it, imo, especially with the Zodiac Age rerelease. In fact, I think it's one of the only proper implementation of real-time with pause thanks to its gauge combat system which is further enhanced with gambits.

The lore was always pretty shitty. The whole F2 backstory with the President and the Hubologists and ghosts and shit...lore is just something writers put into place so nerds can get invested. They then disregard the lore whenever possible.

Even if it was pretty dumb in a few places (and even then, most of the dumb shit was due to F2 very small development time), at least it was mostly consistent. I didn't expect ghouls to suddenly not need to drink water when the previous game said they needed water. Bethesda fucked up major things that were established to work in a specific way, some of the major things being made up by them.

I would try Fonline since it still has support.

I thinking about that plus it's more advance. The thing that scares me though is that one game being made on fonline engine got ceased and desist and it wasn't even in the Fallout universe.

Maybe making my game just a mod for an official fallout game decrease the chance of that happening vs making it on an unofficial engine.

Still I will play since it is officially semi-canon. Should I play brotherhood of shit too?

You hear mixed opinions about Tactics because people wanted a full RPG. The base game is good for a Tactics style game, but the engine is also highly moddable. It was a little buggy but so was Fallout 1 and 2.

Netflix castlevania is one of the most overrated shows. Never have I seen so many plot convinces before. Western animation still has a long way to go before it can ever compete with anime.

When I was younger read the Legacy of the Force Finale: Invincible (was confused but an ok read, though not really convinced I should go back to the earlier books in the series)

Otherwise, read Tarkin, Revan (KOTOR fanboy), Plagueis (really good) and the Bane trilogy (which is the best I have read so far. Really good stuff.) Definitely recommend that unless you want me to sell it to you first haha.

Thank you for your recommendations, am looking into them now. I shall buy Thrawn trilogy next and look into Jedi Knight. Of course it all depends which period of SW I am feeling the most. Sometimes I feel that if there were a 27 book series (like there effectively seems to be post ROTJ) about the period between Bane and Plagueis I would read that immediately.

I haven't read any of the old republic books yet so that stuff is out of my league. I have been wanted to read the bane trilogy for while but haven't gotten around to doing it. I also recommend that you read the x-wing series too if you get a chance.

I definitely would not say ROTS is good, but it is the best in the prequel trilogy. A better way to say it, is that it's the least shit.

ROTS is definitely better than the other two prequels. That doesn't make it good. And it's not hard to be better than Attack of the Clones.
