    Everytime a leak comes out it gets rendered in the dumbest way possible by leakers because they are not fluent english speakers, the fandom makes a shitstorm then the chapter comes out and everyone calms down. It's been like this for 6 years. I still remember people pissed off about Eren getting headshot because they assumed the manga was gonna be about Gabi as the protagonist because of how the leaks worded it.

    The Castlevania show tried to hard to be game of thrones from the 2nd season onward, and I felt they didn't have the budget for most of the action scenes (too choppy). I also didn't appreciate Alucard getting ass rammed. I liked the first season though even with that fedora tipping atheist behind the writer's chair.

    Thankfully he's gone now and won't write anymore castlevania. He also had nothing to do with this show thankfully. But seeing what the current writers have written previously in their career so far doesn't give me much hope in this knew show so far. The trailer doesn't help much either.

    Right it was a total jab at the current political climate. That can be expected to a certain extent but whereas in Deep Space Nine it would have been a two parter talking about proxy war and refugees, in this one it is the whole series.

    Wot is fucking long with each book being about 1000 pages, then the author died so it was finished by Brian Sanderson who I felt was inferior and really changed a lot of the characters and dialogue for the worst. The middle also drags hard with little happening, there's some good shit in there but as the series goes on the cast of characters causes shit to go at a snail's pace.

    I feel the Tolkien comparisons is really only apply to the first book. Then it just starts taking from a lot of different mythologies. If you do read it at least get to The Dragon Reborn (third book) before you stop because it's a good rest point and shows more of what to expect in the series.
