    I dunno whether or not to wait a couple gens... I've skipped gen 7 but I dunno if I should wait till gen 8 or not

    If you aren't a regular Pokemon player I think it would be better for you to wait for the enhanced version of whatever the gen 8 games are. If they keep the rythm they had with the DS and 3DS eras, waiting for longer than until gen 9 would mean having to wait until the sucessor to the Switch comes out. Each gen tends to last 2-4 years.

    I gues there are some advantages to skipping gens as you would get more new Pokemon at a time from that perspective, and would also probably help with mitigating the Gen Identity politics the fandom engages on nowadays. I couldn't do it tho, they got me trapped forever, until they fuck up too hard.

    I would've like to see Caulifla, maybe Kale, or even, as boring as he is, Jiren over Broly yet again. I wouldn't mind Bradock normally, but this game already has 3 different Goku forms, to the point where making a 3 Goku team is a meme.

    I actually agree with you. Just being the example not being a beggar as it were. My advice to youngins that don't go to college is to bust your ass. The youtube beggars, like those skeptics that whined when the ad money ran out should have diversified. If I youtubed it'd be for a small supplemental income. More akin to a hobby.

    Like I said, if you don't go to college you still need to put in a lot of work, develop marketable skills on your own, save up money, have some enterprise in mind etc. But youtubers with patreon accounts could potentially fuck up an entire generation by warping their perception of what it actually takes to make a living.

    Every time anyone describes something as "Tropy", that some character is just a Trop or says that something needs to be written without tropes my Asshole clinches from the cringe, I know who to blame for this proliferation of illiterate pretension of criticism, even after they stopped being relevant their stain won't come off.

    Older Pokemon games weren't hard so much as grindy. Jhotto is the most unbalanced region holy shit.

    3 Gym leaders in a row are all the same level, the last fight with Team Rocket has you fight level 17 pokemon still, the boss only gets to level 32 at most and then the game jumps to the next Gym leader being level 40 while all available trainers and wild Pokemon to grind don't go above level 22-25, it's pretty terrible.

    Yup, Gen 2 has probably the worst level scaling in the series. The only reason older gens feel harder is because of poorly balanced mechanics, a big chunk of the pokemon have trash stats and they are grindy as shit.

    Story mode in DB FighterZ is pretty lame but the game is fun enough, I will try to beat all Arcade courses before getting trashed online.

    Sorry my bad I thought I saw some spaming the same characters mist of been the two goku characters ? I forget. I think you can swap out characters mid match though ?!
