There's Loulogio's "Taxus" in Spanish even, but I wonder how much of the popularity of it is because being his baby or because of genuine merit. Haven't got to read it myself.
The last Jedi needs to get an Oscar for best use of a cgi irish gerbil throwing cgi coins around.

I heard they even Cgi'd Cavill's upper lip in because he had a mustache on for reshoots. I have to get around to watch that one if only to have a laugh.

It's true, as he has a contract where he's forbiden to remove the mustache. So they CGId it out. And you can totally see it.

That movie looked really bad from the very trailers. Switching directors mid project and extebsively reshoot it in 3 months? Doomed to fail.
The best Plot twists are the ones that make the story less interesting.

It's a reference of a great Joke Rich Evans made on the latest Best of the Worst.
How to know someone is trying to bullshit their opinion on a film while trying to sound smart? Count how many times they say "Auteur".

... I just like when a critic can explain why he holds an opinion well. That's really all a good critic needs to be able to do. Well, and not have consistently shit taste :/

Contradict yours even with those coherent and well presented points?

No. Like when people try to say the star wars prequels are good with ring theory.
Mark Hammil deserves an oscar for that scene where he talks with a moving trashcan and reacts to archive footage.

I couldn't imagine how something from now could possibly retroactively ruin something that is great. Just seems to be a simple inability to mentally seperate two products despite their connection.

That "jizz" is supposed to the blue milk that he drank on tatootine in A New Hope. LMAO
felt very weird to have my mind work faster than my body, almost as if I was experiencing Lag. Watching Ranma 1/2 while high was a bad idea.

Is okay. Is fun but in small bursts. Zelda BotW is more consistently entertaining.

So Bright came out. Anyone has seen it? Is it good?

Yeah, for sure. Or even District 9-y, without the commitment to its setting. Will put some thoughts at the movies thread tomorrow. I can say I've quite liked it and that it's the best Netflix original I've seen.

I saw it. It wasn't really all that good. They _really_ squandered the setting and worldbuilding. I really wanted to see a world that's a bit more realistic and believable than this sorta grim setting with Fantastic Racists and all these fucking stereotyped fantasy creatures.

Liked that they kept it tight. Supposedly there are nine races and Centaurs and Dwarves are a thing but it stays focused in the ones on the matter. And I don't know, worldbuilding wasn't really a focus and I appreciate that the intro is, while heavy handed, not a hamfisted narration or a similar element.

Blame SJWs and the alt-right for affixing values of social justice onto movies with little to no regard for the actual content of the movie nor what came before.

It was hysterical to see the lengths they went to obfuscate the fact that Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were overweight in episode 8.

Also, I think the best solution for specialized builds is to have most content available to everyone, but give certain builds different rewards or different ways to go through situations. Kinda like a good Fallout or Deus Ex game.

Ever heard of user reviews? Reddit? Steam reviews? Those are off regular users and there is youtube with an almost endless library of videos on most games. Why is it always 0 or 100 with you people?

Or maybe find someone who have roughly the same taste as you and ask their opinions on the game you're interested in.
RPO and Disaster Artist, two movies that survive entirely off of the "I get that reference!" syndrome and have no other merit.

Hmm... I guess you only really "get it" if you have the necessary knowledge and attachment to The Room. I mean, there are a LOT of movies like that. Saving Mr. Banks is one of my favorite dramas ever, but if you don't care about Mary Poppins, it's pretty bland.
