From what I understand "kek" is basically "lol" but without the stigma towards it due being insanely overused.

All of the Unofficial Patches are required for most mods, and they're insanely good and don't take up much space, so yes, they're worth it.

There's one guy on r/Fallout over on Reddit that made a thread complaining about people hating on Fallout 4, so this is one of the only times I've dealt with apologists.

Nowhere else besides the West Coast, I believe. There is no mention of the NCR in 4 or 3, so obviously the East has no idea who they are.

Without ignoring a ton of plot elements from Fallout, not at all. Wasteland is more of the typical "Russia bombed Amercia fugg now we gotta survive" where as Fallout is much more deeper than that. Wasteland doesn't focus much on the lore and focuses much more on the events that're happening.

While I understand that the Legion is mostly falling under the will of Caeser because most of them have no other choice, the NCR savage in me wants to scream "DEATH TO THE LEGION!!"
